I learn so much from your lead playing. Its so colorful and perfect for the tracks you do, So sometimes i just have to figure out exactly what your doing. I used to be an 80s rocker shredder guy but now am wanting more feel in my playing and You have definitely added color to my own style. Thank you for the tracks the leads and the inspiration. Best tracks on here by far!
Very nice track, I love soloing on it, oh its simple but I feel you, and can express some heart felt lead guitar work..God bless you and thank you for sharing this.
Very nice! I got a lot of inspiration from this progression. Even picked up a new little quick repeating lick. Hope I don’t forget it 😬 That Em in the chorus sounds real good to my ear and I sorta used it as a launching place.
Dude youre a hell of a player, even though it may not mean much coming from me i immediately fell in love with that improv toward the end, good stuff my friend! 🤟💯🫡
@@METTI1986LA I meant "music theory simpler", no extensions, just four chords, no modulation. I'm sure it takes just as much time and effort to produce this track as any other.
Just learned of your channel from a forum and I'm now hooked. Thanks for the on screen charts too. Can you do some bossa nova type or fusion style groves?

Hey Jason Johnson nice last name LOL. I was reading through the comments and saw that you had a question and no one has addressed it yet. I am no teacher but I can tell you what worked for me and opened up the fretboard in a big way. I also realized that your comment is 9 months old maybe you are not struggling with it any longer. In case you are this is what I would do. Judging by your comment it sounds like you are familiar with the minor pentatonic scale. If that is the case the next thing I would do is learn the 5 minor pentatonic positions. Do the same for the major scale as well which also has 5 positions. With some practice, you will be able to visualize the mapping of the fretboard so to speak. Things will start to fall in place for you. After all that, I then started to read up on some more in depth things like modes, caged system, etc. And one fine day, things started to really click for me. Sorry for the long comment but I totally related with your comment. Hope this helps you in some way like it did me. Keep jamming. Music is food for the soul. Cheers
Conga, just try and practice a little more, maybe for 15 minutes over a backing track. I use these for scales practice too when I need to rest my brain. You will find that you have more and more ideas. Don’t be daunted by the excellent solos at the end of these; I try and pick one idea from the solo and work it into my own stuff. I think the greatest barrier to learning is lack of self esteem. Try and manage this with the above ideas. Have fun!
Hope you enjoy this one! 🤘

Every hit song from the 80s hair bands rolled in this ...I dig this track.
Skipped ahead to solo, was not disappointed 🤘

That's an easy fun song to play I wish I still had a guitar. You demonstrate it all in such a fantastic way. ❤
Your lead licks atr the very best i have heard bar none. Great talent.
MATE YOUR SOLO AT THE END! LOVE IT, LOVE IT
It would be great if you could display a second fretboard with the degree of each note in the key scale. Just a thought.
ia ser muito didático, realmente

I just realized in your solo you did a lick and it sounded like Jason Aldean: dirt road anthem.
Maravilhoso, vou treinar agora 👏👏👏
Beautiful solo!!
You,re slaying it dude !! 🔥ripping on that solo ..when are you going to release a CD .. ?
I love the simpler style of track, this is awesome!
Wouldn’t call it simple cause there is a lot of work behind such a track especially with the solo at the end I guess 🤟🏼

Does the patreon thing include tabs to the rhyhtm stuff you do, or "just" the solo tabs?
If you don't mind me adding me some scale 😜
Vou fazer uma letra para essa base

If only I could actually improvise well, then backing tracks would stop making me depressed

what's the point of ending the track that way ?
Why this kick hits to kill speakers all the time?
Not me being happy of my impro and being disgusted when I hear his
