You're wasting your time my friend, woman like men that play guitar, not some old bit of boring brass, plus, all that blowing ain't doing your throat any good.
Damn I play through the whole video without even realizing it, what an amazing backing track! Felt it all the way through, awesome. You could say my spirit was... elevated.
I've improved so much more in the past few years and that has been with the help of the tracks you guys put out. My playing is more melodic and fits the song and tempo. Thanks again.
Nice touch with the rhodes sounding electric piano and r&b kinda harmony. I felt like your tracks became all the same for a while there, but this is fresh and novel indeed. More like this please!
Love how you include the scales and chords. Please consider some backing tracks in the style of indie and alternative rock. Some style suggestions: Pink Floyd, Kurt Vile, Mars Volta, Radiohead, Queens Of The Stoneage, Red Hot Chili Peopers, Rage Against The Machine.
Very beautifully done. I would like to listen to some of the melodies by singers or instrumentalists that inspired you to write this beautiful progression. Can you please suggest to me a few singers that might have sung to something similar to this or any jazz-soul players? I am looking for ideas for jamming with this based on what other singers or instrumentalists have done in a similar vein. Thanks very much in advance.
Love those aug7, although I’d call them 7#5, but I am really not sure if there is any difference between those two. Aren’t they both 1-3-#5-b7? Anyhoo, is always a nice chance to give some love to the altered scale!
You need to give some chance to your spontaneity don't you? ;) Not saying stop learning theory. Try improv with your voice, if you do, tell me the results!
I think you'll find its the 5th that's augmented, not the 7th. Cos that would just be an octave. But there's a minor 7th as well as the aug 5. Generally if a chord is described as 'augmented' you assume its the 5th, in this case F double sharp.
Anybody else finding that E Aeolian doesn't sit too well on this? Sounds best to me if I target the extensions (7,9...) of each chord, and whole tone scale for the BAug...
I find C Major works really well for it. I took one listen to the beginning notes and said to heck with it and played some C, and it actually sounds great to me. Also, once the Baug7 comes into play, I actually played some F phrasing around it (F, Bb, etc.) since the B and the A together makes it sound similar to like a Bdim chord, which would also fit into C major. Idk, worked for me. Maybe try some of that and see how it works for you?
I'd stick with G Ionian/E Aeolian over everything except G7, in which case I'd use G Mixolydian/C Ionian and a G7 arpeggio. Over the Baug, you have a few options; I like B Superlocrian/C Melodic Minor or B Phrygian Dominant/E Harmonic Minor. Try G# Locrian Pentatonic over the B aug. D#maj7+5 and BmM7 arpeggios sound great over the B aug, too.
Keep getting these ads saying that you can’t learn guitar from RUclips videos and you need a tutor/paid app but I’m completely self taught and can play at a higher level than anything taught on fender play. So stupid
Great track. That's more E-7 with a 9 because you're playing the minor 3rd in the groove guitar track. I was trying to make E major work but it just wasn't having it and my imagination wouldn't let me take it there. The tune is just too good the way it is!
Dude! loving this sooooo much! Thank you so much. Gonna be jumping over to that patreon page and throwing a nice tip cause these are awesome and just what I needed.
Hey man got any tips on improving my guitar playing ehat should i focus in im not new at guitar im pretty well knowledge but is there anything i should focus on to grow my skills in lead and rhythm
If I'm on bass, what's notes am I cued to stick around if this is E minor? Wondering how being told 'E minor' or 'B minor' or other label is supposed to tip me off to play? Awesome channel. Can't learn with friends in lock down so I learn with internet friends
It tells you what the root note is. I would recommend learning the caged system in order to learn which respective notes sound good in each key. Hope this helps?

This is great. I subscribed to your channel because I feel your music, especially this one. I looked around your bandcamp libraries but couldn't find this backing track.
Been blowing sax over this track for the last hour. OMG this makes me feel good. Thanks for the inspirational work

Damn, you can’t go wrong with this track. Back and forth between Am, Bm and Em sounds like butter.
Damn I play through the whole video without even realizing it, what an amazing backing track! Felt it all the way through, awesome. You could say my spirit was... elevated.

A true Artist
solid practice sesh on this.
Hi Tom.
Are you also from the USA? What State?
Your channel helps a lot of musicians.
Many thanks.
I am from the UK my friend 👍
@@ElevatedJamTracks where in UK good Sir?
The best channel for jam tracks !!! My pleasure to be your subscriber !
So much fun to jam to!!! Looks like your Aeloian scale is off. Its hitting F# instead of F on the 5th position.
Huh? There's no F natural in E Aeolian.

I don't know about you guys but I find that the phrygian mode works really well over this little number. (Or the Am Aeolian if that makes it easier)
Loving the work on a lot of tracks from this channel.
Great job...beautifull...thanks for share..God bless

limite pour avoir une bonne intonation en E Aéolien! enfin chacun est libre!!
Sou muito grato pelos teus vídeos. Voltei a estudar guitarra fazem 2 anos e venho usando eles para estudar escalas.! Muito obrigado pelo seu tempo.
Love the feel of this track.. Can jam with it for hours!
That E7sus2 with this arrangement and in this context sounds so godamn sexy!

This track fits so nice together. Love playing to it with my sax. Good stuff. Keep it coming
Schmaltz with a solid backbeat. Very cool! Love this track, thanks.
