I am known Aggron Advocate for the Horse Council. Aggron is my favorite horse, only rivaled by Falinks. If High Horsepower is not the metric by which we quantify horsedom, I fear my worldview may be shattered. That said, I trust the Council to come the reasonable conclusion.
Are we completely sure that Iron Mugulis, who I’m pretty sure is doing his time for his crimes, is not behind these additions to the horse council to upend their authority?
Counterpoint: High Horsepower is not a horse-type move. It's a car-type move. Hence the term "horsepower". This is why some horses can't learn High Horsepower.
Personally believe rhydon is stirring the pot so a stricter definition of horse is made which will remove horsie and magcargo from the horse council ending the horse civil war.
Iron Crown may not be able to learn the move High Horsepower, but the revelation that Spectrier, a Horse Elite, is also unable to do so leads me to believe this Paradox Pokemon should be allowed a place in the Horse Council.
Keldeo is pretty blatantly a horse(unicorn), Cobalion and Virizion are much more like deer. Terrakion seems like a moose/bear hybrid. Stocky as a bear but with hooves and "antlers."
This actually sort of reminds me to the Infernape and Empoleon dynamic in Gen 4 Infernape at first was the more favorable option due to being a fast, explosive, immediate threat. But as the meta shifted, it went more into the favor of the slower, bulky attacker with defense/offense utility.
Spectrier can't be a horse as spectrier is dead. Horses are famously not dead, otherwise they couldn't do things such as gallop, pull carriages, or use high horsepower.
Funny. Isnt this exactly why Cobalion started seeing use later in the previous generations? It wasn't as fast as Virizion or as strong as Terrakion, but it could do more. So much more. Volt Switch was also one of the redeeming qualities it had. Very cool that Iron Crown really is like the 2.0 of Cobalion

In the last meta I used a similar idea as a hyper offense lead counter in "Salamence". This Salamence had a "Choice Scarf" to outspeed all potential leads, but had a "+Attack" nature with "Moxie" to also potentially have some late game usage. The key to this Salamence is "Dual Wingbeat" which OHKOs "Ribombee" with "Focus Sash", and is fast enough to outspeed it as well, not letting it get up "Sticky Web". Along with the move "Iron Head" to face off against "Alolan Ninetails" and "Glimora" (although Iron Crown is notably much better against this lead) leads, this Salamence would often be up 1 kill with an attack boost after the first turn was over.
Next video should be dedicated to finally deciding once and for all what Pokémon are horses and which are not. The horse council drama is overshadowing Old Money’s corporate takeover and our priorities must be set in order

I really admire Iron Crown’s resilience. He may have been shunned from the horse council, but he kept persevering until the horse council truly recognized him for the horse he is.

Because of this, I support spectrier as a horse because it fits the first definition, Pokémon like Magcargo, as much as I support horse diversity, only provides horsepower, which is simply a unit of force equal to roughly 735.5 Newtons/second. Because of this, I would push to revoke it’s horse status, though because of the large strides it has made for the horse community at large, I believe an honorary horse society membership is in order.

Certainly an apology is due from everyone who doubted Tachyon Cutter. I immediately recognized it as valuable. Any move that deals with substitutes and Mimikyu are valuable, plus it's not a weak move, and it's accurate, AND it's not subject to the downsides of physical contact.
I'm not gonna lie, I saw Iron Crown's potential right out the gate. I literaly told my firend IRL that this mon definitely has a future. What's actually really cool, is that it volts vs Ghold and vs Kingamit, allowing them to be bullied by the right mons, and Future Sight / Psychic coverage disuades Great Tusk from switching in too recklessly, not that it enjoys taking Tachyon Cutters on the switch. It's also worth noting that booster speed cutter prevents most good leads from doing anything. I've had a couple of matches where I ended up having to pivot into a preserved Ribombee, so what I'd done, was go for Future Sight first, then OHKO it with Cutter, to force my opponent into their dark types. As mentioned, it handles Kyurem REALLY well, forcing the Tera, only for it to get removed by the Future Sight + Priority is what Poetry looks like. In my opinion, Crown, and Lokix are genuinely good mons. And there's actually potential for even more good sets out there.
This Horse Council lore has me on the floor with each new addition. The Sea Horse, is considered a Horse. The Fire Slug, is considered a Horse. The Bipedal Rhino, is considered a Horse. The literal Ghost Horse, not a Horse 🤣🤣🤣...
Perhaps the horse council needs tiers of horseness. Being a rideable quadruped with high horse power like mudsdale and glastier is the highest tier of horseness. While magcargo is a mere patron of the horse council since it has access to high horse power. I believe this gives a voice to all potential horses while keeping the values of the horse council the same.
Kind of a beautiful redemption story. His original self is horrible and everyone thought his future self was horrible but now he’s proving everyone wrong.

It has recently come to the council's attention that a number of other mons also get "high horsepower" despite their non-titles as horses. Such mons include: Melmetal, Rillaboom, Buzzwole, Chesnaught, Cetitan, Golurk, Guzzlord, Orthworm, Torterra and Wishcash among their pre-evolutions. Should these mons too be allowed access to the council?

A mad funny option is specs crown. Before I tilted like mad, I got to 1600s with it because it was that funny. Not a very practical thing but man specs tachyon cutter hits like a truck. Plus it guarantees ohko on clod with psyshock and you don't need chip on kyurem for tachyon ohko. Again not exactly the best set, but give a shot it's pretty fun catching people off guard with it.
If this goes on my favorite Pokémon Dugtrio can be called a horse for knowing high horse power, it can also punch and slash which horses do usually lack. It could be the most powerful horse this is insane.
I can't help thinking that all this with the Horse Council is somehow being deliberately stoked behind the scenes. Likely Iron Mugulis and Old Money are behind this attempt to divide such a previously robust council
It's Aways talk about rise and fall, rise seems better, be in a lower format seems a bad; but it's better to be able to use something in lower format, rather than being more restricted.
This is why I always tell people in any competetive game (yugioh, smash, pokemon, etc) not to sleep on new options initially and let them develop. In smash for example, everyone thought byleth was trash at first. Mkleo proved them wrong, and now byleth is a solid high tier.
“After being considered among the worst paradox Pokémon” Who??? Who was thinking this? Legit I never saw a single person say this and I’d be shocked if there was proof of it considering it was a UU staple up til now and certainly couldn’t be called “among the worst”.
I wish they also buff Iron Leaves. Well first thing's first, they can make Psyblade the common Paradox Musketeer sig move, just change its effect to gain the boost in Electric Terrain instead. Then they can give Leaves a new sig move. Dunno what it needs to be useful but I'm thinking of some light-based Grass attack that goes through screens and subs and ignore DEF boosts. The screens are not broken but instead powers up the move, basically roasting them behind it. I'm gonna call it Photon Slash.
I personally believe these legendaries were chosen because there was no appropriate name for them as past paradox Pokémon. They have no traits that stand out. Perhaps if they were horses, they could be named Great or Angry Horse or something.
Oh yes... when Arceus mentioned that he could put Magcargo on the priority list for the Horse Council, he was desperate. This play. The writing is intensifying to the point where we might not be able to contain it.
I like that iron crown has been experimented with more, and recently become a proper OU Pokémon. It’s a very cool design, both visually and gameplay-wise. Hope to use it to great success myself.

Horse power is a unit of measurement based on the power of a single horse. To have high horse power you aren't a horse, you have the power of many.
I mean the average horse is capable of more than 1 horse power
Horsepower is the power of a horse averaged over a whole workday; they can output much more than 1 horsepower (a *high* amount) in short bursts

For me, a horse council member is a Pokémon that looks like a horse, can learn high horsepower, or both.
we should also consider how high the horsepower of all those horses is and if some pokemon are horses but with a low horsepower
The only issue is that, despite having 122 base spAtk it still feels slightly weak offensively without booster energy for some reason

A mad funny option is specs crown. Before I tilted like mad, I got to 1600s with it because it was that funny. Not a very practical thing but man specs tachyon cutter hits like a truck. Plus it guarantees ohko on clod with psyshock and you don't need chip on kyurem for tachyon ohko. Again not exactly the best set, but give a shot it's pretty fun catching people off guard with it.

I wish they also buff Iron Leaves. Well first thing's first, they can make Psyblade the common Paradox Musketeer sig move, just change its effect to gain the boost in Electric Terrain instead.
Then they can give Leaves a new sig move. Dunno what it needs to be useful but I'm thinking of some light-based Grass attack that goes through screens and subs and ignore DEF boosts. The screens are not broken but instead powers up the move, basically roasting them behind it. I'm gonna call it Photon Slash.

I personally believe these legendaries were chosen because there was no appropriate name for them as past paradox Pokémon. They have no traits that stand out. Perhaps if they were horses, they could be named Great or Angry Horse or something.

I like that iron crown has been experimented with more, and recently become a proper OU Pokémon. It’s a very cool design, both visually and gameplay-wise. Hope to use it to great success myself.
