This game is what fighting games should strive to be later on. For once the characters react to others special moves, I would like to see characters talk to other before the match starts just like in mk x that be awesome ^-^.
GGXX2, GGI, BB:CT have been ported to pc, BB:CS with netcode have been recently released, there are chances this will get ported too with netcode. The problem is Arcsys is not the publisher of these pc ports and they seem to not care about pc for now, in fact, it seems the GG ports were done without any supervision from Arcsys. We'll have to wait to a third party to do it. It will take a while, 2-4 years based on the amount of time the other ports took. But fighting games on pc are getting more popular latetly, I expect someone will take it sooner.

And I love how everyone in the Guilty Gear universe is scared shitless at the prospect of being shot out of May's cannon. Even the normally unflappable ones like Zato and Ramlethal are sweating! :-D

Like, in order to fire a cannon, you need a certain amount of gunpowder and the like, so maybe he's warning them not to use too much or else the explosion will be too much and damage the cannon/themselves while firing?
Not sure what Slayer means when he says he gets checkmate in two moves. Checkmate requires a minimum of three moves, and even then, very specific moves need to be made by both sides.

Any situation where you completely corner your opponent, having forced them into a position where they cannot escape defeat can be decleared a checkmate. You're just being way too literal and restrictive. Slayer is reciting (bad) poetry, so he's clearly being loose and artistic in his use of words.
No, if you want to do it raw in the middle of a match it would be really gimmicky. There is a massive penalty for missing it and your life and meter are draining while it's activated. There is a method to combo into it but it's a very specific situation where you execute the opponent like an Ultra in KI. I'll explain it in detail in my upcoming tutorial.
Nope, you can't use meter when in IK mode. if you miss you lose your meter for the whole round, they're really dangerous to throw out, and can only be combo'd into when the opponent is at 20% health with a Roman cancel. They're just hella gimmicky.

TheNekoGentleman you can't do that normally unless the life bar is flashing and have 50 tension and it the last round. Otherwise ik won't combo.
