It's really cool to see these guys being so genuine and vulnerable - and I use the word "vunerable" in refering to their honesty, as opposed to suggesting they're showing any kind of weakness. To work as hard as these guys do at giving the illusion of confict and aggression, while still maintaining the kind of self control they need, not to injure each other speaks volumes about their dedication and professionalism. Great video series.
The movie They Live was awesome and Roddy did a great job. Whoever that critic was is crazy.
Now look at Rotten Tomatoes' discrepancies.
I still remember the dog collar match between Greg Valentine and Piper as that feud got me hooked on wrestling for many years.Classic.
Of the entire group, Lex Luger does not belong there for murdering Miss Elizabeth. He should be in jail.
i always said Valentine is a glimpse of triple H's future.

I don't really call the physical part acting because they're actually doing that,but maybe selling the pain and the impact of the moves.

This is where wrestlers can't win because they're accused of being actors and yet when Roddy Piper acts in a movie like he said here,or any other wrestler,his acting skills are being attacked.
I don't actually. My comment wasn't meant in a making fun of him matter, it was an observation. I haven't seen Lex Luger since I was little and he was in his prime. I just happened to notice that everyone there was smiling and seemed to be enjoying their time. It wasn't meant in a disrespectful manner.

He had a stroke a few years back which robbed him of his trademark physique. It's crazy to see how different he looks these days
Wasn't trying to be disrespectful, it was simply an observation. Everyone else seemed to be smiling and enjoying themselves but he never smiled. Considering I haven't seen Lex Luger since I was little, I don't know what went on. But I meant no disrespect in my comment.
is it staged? yes is it scripted? yes but its not fake.. the risks are real its entertainment as well

The only acting that might be involved in wrestling is the promos.
200lb guys can lose 15-20lbs in about four weeks when they stop a steriod course. Eight weeks back on and he'd put the muscle weight back on with a good regime and diet.
Take a look a The Rock now, fit and lean but no way the bulk he once had, its all down to being on the gear or off the gear. I've worked in olympic power lifting for years and guys train on or off and their weight can be three stone difference in these seasons. Lex has just taken a back seat for a while.
she didnt die from roids or coke, she died from a overdose of pills that she took, they were a strong dose of painkillers and she wolfed the whole bottle on purpose because she had a battle of depression.
