- So my nine-year-old son decided to do a number on his iPad air 2. This is my attempt to fix it. This is for entertainment purposes only . This video is not a professional fixing an iPad that was bent. Seriously, do not try this unless you are prepared to suffer a broken screen , completely at your own risk.
My little sister bent her iPad tonight and she was really upset about it. It looked exactly like your son’s lol. She’s in bed right now, and I just tried this technique to fix her iPad. It looks almost perfect now! Still turns on and no cracks because I did it gently. It’ll be a nice surprise for her when she sees it :)

i've got around 20 ipads at home all bent like this. I tried on my ipad mini 4 and it works. It's actually crazy how much money i've spend on cases that i thought would never fit on the ipads again. you saved my life. people like you is why i even have faith in humanity. Thank you sooooooo much.

This is a very dangerous way to 'fix' the iPad. It may work but it is more likely to crack or shatter the screen.An alternative way is to place the ipad face down and place an encyclopaedia on it - favouring the portion where it is bent. Then place other heavy objects on top of that. Leave it over night and you will find that the bend is reduced.
Your theory might work. Maybe you should make a quick video of your book fix. The iPad in this video looks like it was bent pretty bad . Also it seems a lot of people had success following what he did.

Thank you! This works great. Although it isn’t a perfect fix, it helps it get really straight. My little brother got it bent by dropping a chair as well as other things on it. I am glad this video exists!
This is not completely working, but, still, it has unbent my iPad successfully, and know it just leaves marks whenever I tap things, thank you so much, you’re a live saver, you saved my dad almost 1,000$ by giving this tutorial, he was gonna get a new one, but I fixed it.

Yeah man, I made it with success! It happened to my iPad Air but this time I tried with a flat book and the towel placing them in strategical positions with very small and slow strength I brought it back “well straight” shape. Thanks a lot for posting this clip, I thought I was going crack but with the respective care it’s a nice way to fix this a bent iPad. Greetings from the Mexican Caribbean.

Edit 1: i freaking taked my heart in my tooths and now my ipad is freaking about to look like is brand new. Im surprised that it worked. It tooked me more tryes because the iPad before i was putting slow pressure on my edge was coming back to its bend shape. So, dont be scared and use this metode unfair. Make sure you dont exaggerate with the pressure because its risky. Whatever, thank you a lot for ur help! P.S my ipad isn’t fully recovered, i mean if you look from a part to edge, it looks still bented but the ipad when you put on a flat surface, is still ok. Before u do what i said, take a protector and put it on your ipad

Hey man I have the same iPad as you and it was bent (not as bent as yours tho).And the screen kinda came off.I started being extremely careful with the iPad and now the iPad is flat (not bent).But the screen came off just a little bit on the right side of the screen where the iPad was bent.Im confused if it happen because of the screen or the battery has swollen and I’m scared the battery might catch Fire or something.Can you tell me why the screen came off a bit? Just looking at some of this for people with the bent pros I had an idea as I was watching other videos on replacing the glass which what most of you might be cracking you can buy glass replacement kits for around $20-50 that give you information on how to fix it also I suggest looking at iFit sit they have everything you needed to know on tools to use and how to videos so to my idea look for video's that show you on taking out the screen Frist then do this trick I know I am going to give it a go if I get a iPad that is bent

I have a iPad Pro and it’s bend in the middle and how I fix it is by smashing it with my patella and it went back in place.

The first question I have is how did it get this bad? The second question I have is how did he have the strength to bend it that much? Because I know how inquisitive we kids are. We want to see how durable our devices are. But … How in the heck did he have the strength to bend his iPad that much that the screen started popping out unless it was an accident like he dropped it or something.

Evidently never learns from it's mistakes we've seen the same issue with the I phone 6 plus anything made super thin with no support holding it together is not going to be durable is going to bend because it can't sustain the slightest pressure of weight

I can say for the cost that the local shop wanted to repair the bent iPad, ($200+), I found this solution worked. If the screen cracked on mine the cost is roughly the same to repair.
