    I was at that place as a child in the 90's. I still remember the steep stairs on the pyramid of the sun! It is an unique experience. Thanks for making these videos. You should visit my home state of Puebla. It is one of the "friendliest" cities in Mexico. The traditional food is definitely a highlight!

    Great video, I really enjoyed it. The Avenue of the Dead I believe has the same meaning to the ancients as the "necropolis" of Giza in Egypt. It had nothing to do with dead bodies. It wasn't a physical death but an inner psychological death where you let go of all the crap in your life that prevents you from attaining enlightenment and spiritual purification. This was the original meaning of resurrection,...and it has obviously been made to be something else today.

      Hey Gabe, maaaaaaannnnnnn.... I would tell anyone to this once in their life. The smaller pyramids made realize quickly how high I was at the top right off the bat. The Moon Pyramid was workout for me.. I'm 300lbs!!!! don't look it but damn sure felt it though. Anyway, those edges cut off so quick with a nasty drop to the next flat. Though everything is nice distance apart the whistling and clapping was crazy amplified. Never heard nothing like that bro. That Pyramid of the Sun... anyone reading this believe me, Gabe is breathing hard for a reason, the steps are steep and there's a lot of them. I'm going to put my video up of this trip when I get back Sunday.. be ready to laugh at me. By the way i bought those leopard blowers. Hey you came in from the far side by the Pyramid O.T.S.

      ***** Right on, funny, enjoy it......I highly recommend taking the NORTH part of the loop and skip the south part, that was literally one of the worst drives of my life! The washboard was insane.

    hey Gab how did you travel to the Pyramid of the Sun?

  • @travel_show
    @travel_show 8 лет назад

    Hi. I have another question regarding transportation. Where did you get the bus and the price for the ticket how long does it take to go here from Mexico city. Another issue how you returned to mexico? BTW is it possible to get a taxi to mexico near Teotihuacan?

    • @GabrielTravelerVideos
      @GabrielTravelerVideos  8 лет назад

      I took the bus from a bus station that was right near my hotel, where buses leave every 30 minutes I believe (or else every hour) direct to Teotihuacan pyramids. Then you can catch the same bus straight back. So that was really easy. Not sure what the bus station was called but you can easily find out once you get there. I'm sure taxis will go anywhere you want them to go, but it's a pretty long drive so that would probably be expensive.

      ChainedCrows That was CLASSIC. I always suspected that Zahi Hawass was a close-minded prick, but those videos totally confirmed it. Go Graham! He did a great job of dealing with a petulant 13-year old.
