After reading about her sad story, I have come to realise that music has the power to melt hearts but not stones. I guess this lady was surrounded by heartless people which led to her tragic death. What a powerful voice.

Karen Carpenter had one of the most perfect voices. Sonic Youth's rendition is a nice tribute to her. Lana Del Rey would be able to handle a decent cover too. This track & "[They Long To Be] Close To You" are my faves.
