I'm actually in the middle of building an AR10 from a Jaugernaut Tactical upper/80% lower. Trying to figure out what barrel I should go with.. thinking about going with a JP barrel but still open. Ever thought about building one from scratch?
Love the gen 3 architecture! So much more elegant and flowing than the gen 4. The high flared mag well with melted corners to the strong and integrally stylled triggerguard, to the blended upper and lower receivers and handguard that seems to grow from the receiver. Its just beautiful! The gen 4 aside from the beautifully blended handguard to upper receiver and upper to lower receiver just looks like an afterthought. The steeply raked mag well and redesigned flare transitioning to a more organic looking triggerguard just looks awkward in comparison to the elegant yet structured gen 3. Ahhhh what does it matter? Im gonna rock my sub 3/8 moa FNs and smoke any Noveske that makes the mistake of challenging me. But if a Nosler/Noveske gen 3 Varmagheddon comes available for a decent price, i might have to pounce!
Dude love the vids man. Just some info, Gen3 and Gen4 both run Alg Combat Triggers. The 12.5 Gen3 N6 you got there runs that SD-E Trigger. It was an upgrade given to the N6 line. Great work on everything you are doin!
You may want to check out the pws in 308. I recently picked up one in 14.7" pinned model. They also have really nice receivers. I personally like everything about it more than my scar. Was very surprised on how mild recoiling it is.
Noveske is fantastic dont get me wrong, but they are the equivalent of Snap-On. Lol prolly why I dont own neither, not because I dont like them, just because there price range is a bit out of my way.
After training, you'll actually shoot faster with a trigger that resets AT the second stage instead of all the way back to the first. Because you have shorter travel for the reset, you can ride that reset for really really fast follow up shots.
Have you checked out LWRC? They are up there with Noveske. They make beautiful piston AR platforms that shoot super clean...... They use proprietary parts as well.... killer barrels.... I believe that they pioneered the kind of ambidextrous lower that you see on your Noveske. Congrats on your new purchase. EDIT- LWRC builds a 308. called the REPR.... They start at $3500. Check em out if your not familiar.

Charging handle is Geissele, not radian. Trigger in gen 4 is an ALG. Its sort of a sub company of geissele. Its owned by bills wife, but I agree, ssae, sd3d, and sdec arw great g triggers.

I would looovveee to see a comparison between the noveske and a top of the line seekins. I truly believe you can’t beat the seekins for the money. IMHO it’s at least on par with noveske
hey man give the larue tactical mbt-2s trigger a try, if you like two stages, the larue mbt is comparable to a ssa-e but smoother and made of s7 tool steel. and its only $87. I have both and prefer the larue!

I just added the Super SCAR trigger, an ACOG and a Magpul sling, keep everything else and I am happy with my 17.

The charging handle on both of your Noveske’s is a Geissele Super Charging Handle, or as Noveske re-brands it, the Super Badass Charging Handle.

I told you those sights were good! You should try the National Match trigger series. They are adjustable and I have them on 2 guns.
