2020 Kids recruit Kids. Kids want to play with their friends. 9x out of 10 it’s these camps they attend & they develop friendships. Also the Brand recruits kids. Kids see their friends or opposing players getting offers from college. PARENTS more than the kid will want to go play for said school. If you want to keep kids. Have a winning program and also be a coach who has relationships with colleges. It’s simple
If private schools can recruit and play in the public schools divisions, public schools should be able to do the same thing. It's a reason kids transfer, i know this, Coaches hold those kids life in their hands. High school coaches are given power and lots of them tend to help who they want to help. Coaches hold grudges a lot of times and will simply not help kids. The movie "All the Right Moves" if you haven't watched it please do. "Varsity Blues" this goes on more than you know.
So what. How about the other schools do better and stop playing the politics card in football. Make your program better so kids would want to attend. Nothing wrong with picking a school. It's your kid.
Anyone close to this and not a keyboard warrior can say WITHOUT A DOUBT that Kenyatta Watson is about as shady as they come. Which is why he has been shunned from access to nearly every high school AND college in the SouthEast.
@Charles Cowan Great point. And It is fair to assume I am another keyboard warrior. But based on your comments about how people view Kenyatta Watson you without a doubt arr NOT heavily involved with HS football in Georgia, are completely delusional or are Kenyatta Watson himself. He is an open running joke amongst at least three SEC head coaches. And that isn't second hand.
