There was this supermarket we always went to and the owner saw that we struggled financially so since we were long-term clients he said that we could buy whatever we needed and then pay the next month when my father would get his pay check. Always paid, sometimes in time sometimes late but always paid and he never argued, he saw a mother struggling with her two kids and gave us help. It's been a while but I will never forget your kindness, thanks Felice.

johnmonk66 it's an Asian culture to call everyone who's older/younger than you that way. In Asia, it doesn't have to be your own family to call someone like that, it's a way to show politeness and manners for someone who's older than you by putting brother/aunt/uncle/sister etc as a prefix
@@HoaPham-mz5cm That's something I've noticed in Korean culture. It's wonderful, I just love how much respect and honour there is in the societies of Asia. They treat each other with consideration and respect. It's something that most western cultures have lost somewhere along the way, sadly.
here where I live this is common We call someone looking a little bit older as brother/sister, some middle aged as uncle/aunt or mom/dad and to the very old ones we address them as grandma/grandpa
