John, I noticed a few people commented they thought your videos were too long. I disagree! I love sitting down in the evenings and listening to your videos by topic, and have you thoroughly explain the subject.
I love the fact that you don't adhere to "labels", yet still stick to your convictions and maintain good health doing it!!! Kudos! Thank you for sharing!!
I watched this at 1.5 speed and got all the information I needed! I didn't know that some store-bought raw food (especially the bins) may not actually be raw. I've also never heard of freeze dried corn! Thank you for providing the product links, I'll be checking them out.
I really appreciated this video. Also, i appreciate that you are being a little bit more flexible with some of the products you consume becuae that help the rest of us who are not 100% raw, but mostly raw. Thanks for all you help, service and hard work. God bless you.
This video I could watch over and over. I have never been exposed to some of these things. I like the idea that the main diet is locally grown fruit and veg.
I love all your videos and I don't care how long they are I appreciate your dedication and care to share this important information. Thanks John very informative.
Shorter would be better but the info is priceless... more short vid's is a good idea... BUT... better long than not at all... Thanks John... keep on keepin on... BIG LOVE...
I love your videos I'm so glad it popped in right now it's 5:45 p.m. in Washington State. I was feeling down you always have something good to say. you make me want to keep eating right and keep going. I used to eat so perfectly and then I got sick and had no help. Still don't have help but I'm trying much harder even though it's extremely hard just to stand up right now to eat right and you are my motivation and that's tough to motivate me so thank you so much for your videos they mean a lot!💚🌱🌿🍃🍉🍅🍒
Hi friend! I need motivation too. We can.talk.and motivate each other. My husband is not eating right and make me down. I am RN in ICU and see sick people every shift. 519 772 54 31.
Man, "in my opinion" you are obviously a quadrillionaire & God bless you for that but... You will never EVER die! Can' t wait to be able to afford to eat like you do. It's as close to perfection as i've ever seen in my decades of personal research!!
i love watching your videos while im eating, it helps me make sure that im sticking to a natural, pure and healthy lifestyle. Plus the valuable education Im getting as well!
Another awesome video John! You.have answered a lot of my questions. Also, the length of the video is no problem if you listen to it while doing other stuff like household chores etc.
Thank you sir. I have a terrible disease that id rather not mention. Sir... you may have just helped me stay alive for my family Thank you from the top of my heart 🙏👍
There is a big push to eat raw, sprouted chick peas (as opposed to sprouting and cooking). What are your thoughts about eating raw, sprouted chick peas John? Also, I'm concerned about using any product made from palm due to the decimation of the rain forests . . . what's the story of the SugaVida (couldn't find much info)? Thanks so much for your abundant research, links to products, and knowledge!
Great information as always, John! Love how thorough your videos are. This one is really helpful for me because I have terrible autoimmune reactions to raw vegetables, but green powders seem to work great for me. I might also try some of the mushroom powders you mentioned. It seems like dehydrated foods might be quite different than cooked foods, even if they are dehydrated at hotter than raw temperatures. Cooked food on its own makes me feel depressed, but the powders I use seem to have more of a detoxifying effect. I definitely want to stay as close to raw as possible while still meeting my nutrient needs, and it seems like these are the best you can get. Really awesome!
Hi John, great info vid. You are one of the few raw foodists who look good. Where did you get all these product? Can you post links of where you buy them? Thanks!
Jah love John. Thanks for this very informative video about non-raw foods that you eat. I will try some of the Seaweeds and perhaps the mushrooms powders too. I always learn so much from your instructional videos. Thanks again. Blessed love.
Jah and Jahnes love. For me, as a Nyabinghi Rastafari, Jah is His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I who is Emperor of Ethiopia since November 1, 1930. He led the way to Ethiopia's evolution into a free society for all of her citizenries. There is also the fact that he descended from Emperor Menelik I who was the son of Queen Candace of Sheba and King Solomon of Jerusalem. Blessed love.
I agree with all of Marie's description. I would add in order to help clarify for you.. To me, Jah means God or God spirit. As Rastafari, we believe in the Spiritual Divinity of Haile Selassie to one extent or another. To me, he was completely filled with God Spirit, came to earth to usher in a new age, save the world, and inspire a new faith. Being Rastafari leads me to the highest spiritual version of myself, and motivates me to live a spiritual life. Thank you for inquiring. Peace to you.
Hi John is there another brand of unfortifies organic nutritional yeast that you recommend. The one in your link is unavailable. Also is there a link for the algea oil? Thanks
I really come to enjoy your videos recently discovering you because if being an advocate raw naturalist is it the healthiest thing for you then you have to add other things to supplement your diet and be intuitive and you seem to listen to your body a lot that's why you look a lot healthier than it most raw eaters... I don't feel that your food source should define who You are you define who You are...so many people introduce themselves by the food that they eat like it's their religion so I respect you being a public figure in the community and addressing some deficiencies that need to be replaced.
Hi John, Great video! Do you know a reputable source for sprouting seeds? Which would offer the most nutrition for your money? Thank you for your time and please keep making the great videos. :)
Char Allen I used high mowing organic seeds (they have great mixes) for about 7 to 8 dollars you get tons and tons and tons of sprouts way more than what you get in the store pre-sprouted for that money in within 3 to 5 days you're flush in sprouts
John: Please share your experience with your freeze drier! I suspect that the noise level would not be acceptable to me living in an apartment. Is it required to change the compressor oil after each use? Please share your thoughts. Are you considering selling them?
Okay, but a lot of this stuff are extremely expensive and not local and seasonal. Can you do a video focusing on local and seasonal equivalents for different regions of the U.S.?
The videos are long and wordy but you are not saying anything useless, its ALL GOOD DETAILS TO KNOW! I can play at 1.25 or 1.5x of normal speed and get trough it, also YOU TOTALLY PUT KILLER TABLE OF CONTENTS AND SHORTCUT LINKS IN THE DESCRIPTION! THAT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!
I live in brazil, and Baru nuts are awsome, but as I know, cracking/extracting baru nuts without roasting it is REALLY hard. Some are more roasted than others, just shell them and look the color inside. As for raw food, I do eat cooked food, which is about 30% of what I eat, some foods I grow can't be eaten raw anyway, Mostly tubers, nuts, mushrooms and such. As a brazilian, I never heard or saw jungle peanuts! Are they a different species ? I can't find seeds around here.
Loved this video so informative and useful. I'd use a freeze drier for fruit it's so delicious but pricey as it's so moorish like candy I can eat loads. I've got a dehydrator which I find the fruit texture more filling.
I thought the reason ppl choose raw is for the nutrients, so if the odd food is cooked/processed for safety etc but the nutrient profile is still great, it shouldnt matter. You mentioning frozen bananas gave me and idea, if heating to a certain temp is bad, wouldnt freezing also be bad, breaking cell walls, deactivating enzymes, etc.
Sacha Inchi seeds. Roasted but incredibly high in Omega 3's, fiber , complete protein and other nutrients. Work well instead of cashews for making vegan Parma.
@5:46 where do you buy this totally raw flax seed from that will sprout? I didn't see the list in description below. I bought Spectrum brand organic whole flax seeds from Whole Foods Market and tried to sprout them but nothing happened :-( I figured they're probably not raw.
When I was beginning to go nuts ...over all the talk of nuts 😀..u moved on to herbs n spices ..now we are talking ...here in the tropics in southeast Asia, we love fruits certain veggies n our fresh herbs n spices 💕
Here are some successful frugovores for several years now: Toni Weel (learned from Dr. Morse), Charlie Freak and Colleen + Justin Carpenter (learned from the bible). All of them made an intense fruit juice detox. Thank you for your infos - I am in transition from vegan to raw vegan.
My naturopath has a list of bad guy sweeteners and good guy sweeteners. Agave is on the good guy list because it tests and strengthening the body's bio-electric field. Eating a lot of it is not healthy, but in small amounts, it does actually strengthen the body.

I know I'm not coming here with a source, I've heard that things that have been fermented, even if they're brought above 120° after, the end product of them still have properties that are set and benefit lower GI health. Is this something that you are aware of? Or am I completely misguided? I don't expect an answer, I'm aware that you have a whole life you're living. This is something I plan on looking into on my own at some point. Thanks John
Im not a fan of Vega products. IMO they are too processed. I would encourage you to have more whole food based powders. Check out Vitamineral Green by Healthforce Nutritionals.
okraw is that on store shelves well sorry but I already purchased that powder I think I'll just get my money back on it I'll try to do my smoothies without protein powder what do you think about vegan yogurt I just bought one called silk peach mango
Ive read that roasting can help remove some phytic acid....wouldn't that be a good thing so that the nuts can be absorbed easier? although I am sure many other nutrients are destroyed in roasting.
I eat a my "raw" version of a nutritarian diet. Including the cooked (and fermented) beans that I talk about in this episode, as well as mushroom powders that are heat processed. Soon I will have a tempeh maker and will make many different types of bean tempehs that are unpasturized.
John, I noticed a few people commented they thought your videos were too long. I disagree! I love sitting down in the evenings and listening to your videos by topic, and have you thoroughly explain the subject.

Love this video, and all the links. Thank you, John! :D
Excellent content and thorough explanations
John you were talking about omegas why don't you eat hemp seeds they are available with the hull and they have omega 3s 6s and 9s.
But John, if you keep eating your fruits and vegetables you're going to out-live your fans. And then what?
Fans will have baby fans. Then he can teach the next generation :) :)
John, where do you get the pistachios? Please give the link. Tnx

John I'm noticing you don't talk about hemp seeds that often. Is there any reason that hemp isn't a better alternative to flax or chia seeds?
Anyone have the link to the nutritional yeast? Can't find it on amazon

thanks for the links

Very very good point ☝️.
Burroo nuts? Aysee nuts? I wish you'd write the name of these foods on the screen as you introduce them, as we haven't all heard of them, and such foods often have weird spellings.
John, do you do intermittent fasting too?
Does anybody know an online store for miso?
thank you so much for all your tips and sharing your knowledge!!!!!!!!!
John, thank you so much for all this great info! I'm glad I don't have to be so obsessed with being 100% raw!
I have no affiliation with this powder I'm about to recommend; it's just helped me tremendously and it's raw. iS it true that too much of antioxidants are actually bad for health?
1. Fortified nutritional yeast has B12 added. You might want to consider getting that if you're a vegan. Non-fortified doesn't have B12. 2. Isoflavones ARE phytoestrogens.
What can I use for iron? I don't take supplements.
Amazing sources for these products. I'd been trying to find a better source of Nutritional Yeast (was buying Sari brand at $26/lb) and Macadamia nuts. Thank you so much, I had been searching everywhere.
The Raw Food World store has an unfortified Nutritional Yeast as well.

Following Dr Sebi's nutritional guide was the best advice. Your stuff doesn't stink, your urine is almost clear, and your saliva is very clear like that of a babies. Where i can buy high vitamin d mushroom powder ?
John..what about molds/fungus on nuts and seeds? What to do about this..
Lovely!
What about sprouted oats?
John how do you eat the tempeh?
Gomez l Addams Tempeh is one of the best thing you can imagine , thats part of my daily diet very good for vegetarians.
Its like making rich soil. Awesome. Makes me want to learn about seaweed so I can harvest my own.

Might as well eet dirt.
Ive read that roasting can help remove some phytic acid....wouldn't that be a good thing so that the nuts can be absorbed easier? although I am sure many other nutrients are destroyed in roasting.
Soaking and dehydrating also reduces phytic acid.
Once you soaked discard the water..
You rock!!!!
What about beans ? can they be juiced ?
please can you tell us where we can get that high vitamin d mushroom powder

John, I thought you agreed and followed Dr Fuhrman on eating GBOMBS. So lightly cooking mushrooms and also beans.
I eat a my "raw" version of a nutritarian diet. Including the cooked (and fermented) beans that I talk about in this episode, as well as mushroom powders that are heat processed. Soon I will have a tempeh maker and will make many different types of bean tempehs that are unpasturized.
