I don't know what's up with the algorithm but this is the first post-hurricane Hillary video I've managed to find on the Salton Sea. Fourteen thousand views? This should be at the top.
Been to Slab City dozens of times and it never fails to disgust me. You could not even use the restroom at the rest stops without all the homeless trashy people waiting to break into you car the second you leave it. The authorities need to make everyone move out so the public can use the rest stops in the area without having to deal with meth heads and the rest of the mentally unstable bums!
Last year the EirexTech introduced me to the energetic cavitation impact to convert any type of (Ocean, Polluted, Pond) water into highly competitive hydrogen fueled electricity that provides desalinated and purified water as free byproduct of exhaust. Ocean water contains 150X more Co2 than air and combined with minerals in ocean water the production of bricks, cement and other valuable building materials besides receiving valuable carbon trading credits is another endless example of restoring the Salton Sea, Laguna Salada and the effort to change the name of Death Valley to Life Valley with endless hydrogen fuel safely stored in endless ocean water.
That looks desolate, i stopped there but at a much better spot, did see a number of old dilapidated buildings and got to the shore, a long time ago so don't remember the lake so much other than rather disappointing, i think it was kinda of swampy in a way
Remember I used to fish where you got out of the car---So sad. Lots of fond memories. Thank you.
What is so sad ? It was mess from the start .

We camped there when I was a kid. It was the first time I ever saw so many stars in the sky. It was absolutely dazzling!

The Salton Sea would make a good film set for a dystopian, after-human life saga

The bales of hay for dust control in prevailing winds ...
Old hippies and their millennial kids creating a so-called hippie paradise in a dangerously unhealthy wasteland. What could go wrong.
