This review was a major pain in the ass to make. When I was trying to render the video, Sony Vegas kept soft locking around the 7:41 mark. Every trick I used in the past when Sony Vegas did this didn't work. I did however notice that when I removed the video clip being used at 7:41, the thing rendered just fine but even when I put a brand new clip in, it kept soft locking. So the only way I could get around this was to render the video in two different parts and then put it together in Windows Movie Maker because Sony Vegas just wasn't having it…whatever, let me know if I made any mistakes so I can get it fixed because I wanna be done with this irritating video.
Had the same issue before. Got around it be re-encoding the video clip that was causing the trouble and re-importing it back, then it just worked. Use Handbrake or similar to re-encode, gets the job done 👍
@@SHARDcorp I don't think it was the video clip itself because as I said in the post, even when I put a new video clip in its place, the same thing happened
Ah yes. The best era of PS2 games. The era where quality just went out the damn window and crap on crap on crap kept getting released with a few gems here and there. Excellent review here. I kind of want to play this to see how bad it is, but that may not even be worth the time or hard drive space.
There was quite a bit of shovelware released all throughout the ps2's life cycle actually. Especially Atomic Planet entertainment, every year they would put out a new awful first person shooter. Stealth Force wasn't the only one .
@@ContraWolf Fun times! Seems you're right about there being a ton of shovelware. There was more shovelware than I remembered at first. I guess when you have thousands of games, that'll happen.
As a guy who enjoys recreational shooting, I can imagine a proper remake of this game, with actual controls and weapon differences and an actual progression in unlocking weapons, I think this could be a fun experience. I'm tempted to recreate this in UE4/5 or something.
Nice to see this video remade with your style of making videos today! I wonder, is the Resistance series considered for remake reviews at some point? Would be interesting to see how you go over Resistance 2 after so many years.
Part of me would love to go back to resistance 2 and rip that thing to pieces but I don't have a copy of that or Resistance 3 anymore. The emulator is definitely an option and I have the ROMs but I'll have to wait until my upgrades arrive. Fall of Man runs okay but the other two run awful
Nope, remake. I've been wanting to remake this review for a long time when I checked up on the original video a couple years ago and saw how awful it was.

@@ContraWolfSometimes project files become corrupted, and then you’re just fucked. It sucks.
I love how you are trying to keep the legacy of Armake alive.
Without Armake, I wouldn't be here so it's the least I can do

@@Jrodsly Fun times indeed, I love shovelware
@@ContraWolf I understand. Shovelware is pretty fun to look at for me too. Some of it can be entertaining in a way too.
0:00 I remember you saying that line in the beginning of your Raven Squad review, which no longer exists.
It still exists, I have a backup copy but I plan to remake that video someday

keep covering as many obscure games as you can
“Photoshop job done by an 8th grader” 😂
Pass. I'll stick with supporting GOA and shooting actual guns.
Funny you posted this since I just rewatched the original review you've made years ago just a few hours ago, haha
Funny indeed because that's the last time you're going to watch it. I took it down just before I posted the remake

That Intro really reminds me of Armake ;)
But I've learned that this Video is a remake from old days?
Yes. The first review was made in late 2011 but I had wanted to remake the review for many years. The original was just awful.
Deja vu?
Nope, remake
@@ContraWolf Gotcha, I thought I was tripping for a sec
@@KosherPorky This remake was a long time coming. I've been wanting to replace the old video for years now
You should review the game called trigger man 2004
This game still looks more fun than Top Trump's dreadful PS2 games.
Top trumps PS2 games? That sounds fun, what have we got on offering?
@@ContraWolf well... if you thought the gameplay in NRA gun club was bad, then Top Trumps on the PS2 will make you wonder why the human race exists.
Reupload?

This game is worse looking than REFRAMED...
