In a way, that makes me sad. I am seen Michael get really choked up in interviews after the band broke-up. It has to be hard for him......

And if somebody responds with "they vowed to never play as R.E.M. again", then why do they play with a 3 piece? A slap in the face for Stipe.

Right? Peter and Mike play together quite a bit together even since R.E.M called it quits . Just makes you wonder if Stipe wanted to be done.
