In this video I build my wife her dream bed and couldn't get the head board up the stair case. I found a workaround and made some modifications and made it work though!

Where do you get your wood????
I’m jealous with the barn wood you found! Any pointers on or how you acquired such great looking lumber?
I keep an eye on Facebook marketplace. Also Craigslist still can find some. Hard part now is people want an arm and a leg for it. I used to be able to get it cheap! Can still find deals here and there tho. Also where I live there are a ton of old barns coming down so it is pretty plentiful around me. So location probably has some to do with it as well.

Yep I ended up Taking out an old door on a house that was built in the thirties and the door was only thirty inches wide I needed at least thirty six so I ended up taking out the door and the redo in that wall then just to get it into our kitchen I had to open up the little pantry wall so I took that wall out the bus other things was the thirty one just to get the couch she wanted inside
Plans? Don’t need no stinkin’ plans! Actually I use pencil and paper it’s much faster than Sketchup or other CAD software. If I were to sell copies I would at least make a PDF drawing.
