This is my introduction to the channel and I love the video! It's nice to see someone compare two vehicles that are different. It's not always about seeing which is better, but just what the differences are. Then I can decide which is better for me.

I think the Mini B is a Great RC! Id definitely recommend the Brushless system for yours. Thanks for the support and well be making new videos every week 😁
Great video, Subscribed, bro. A fair comparison would have been the Associated Reflex 14B 4wd Buggy. I love mine but I had to add quite a bit of aftermarket parts to make it into the offroad carpet racer it is today. It is not good for bashing IMO. I was hoping the Typhon Grom with a brushless system would make the ultimate mini club racer for offroad carpet racing. If it handles well and is more durable than the Reflex14b that would be awesome. I'm waiting for mine to come in. 1/14 and 1/16 scale offroad carpet racing is becoming really popular. It started out with the cheap WLtoys the the Reflex 14b. So much fun when you have 4 or more on the carpet race track.

Sorry for the second comment. In all my minis I run the Hobbywing Quicrun 16BL30 ESC with the 2435 4500kv or 4500kv G3 motor combo. They are about 60$ for the combo and it is a rock-solid system. The shaft won't break like the Soektrum Firma 2in1 motor ESC combo does.
I’ll second the 16BL30/4500 combo. Have it in my Granite Grom. So much fun! Biggest complaint I have is I wish the settings were more granular. Ex. I run on 50% brake and would like a bit more, but it endos way too easily with the next step up. (75% - probably wouldn’t be an issue for the Typhon’s longer wheelbase) As for the Grom itself, biggest complaint is the reliance on preset mesh plates. (although, aftermarket alternatives exist now) I’m running an 18t pinion but use the 19t plate with a minor modification. I’d rather just be able to set my own mesh. Crazy fun rig, though! Thanks for the vid! Love my 6s Typhon, but I’m definitely interested in the Mini-B for variety’s sake!
@@themoakley9 The Losi Mini-B used the same pinion transferred to the new setup.. But the Typhon Grom Requires a Mod 0.5 with a 2.0mm ID I used the stock pinion in the video with a 2.3mm ID and caused the motor shaft to brake due to vibration
