This Margaritaville is run by the residence who have no training in customer service. They are quick to present information regarding themselves and their role within the community, but lack perspective in conversing in a polite manner. We were very interested in purchasing a house at this location however, after attending this open house will not pursue that dream.
@ntrylifestyles We live in NC which is nice but not a great tax structure for retirees compared to SC. We were going to drive down to see this place in person and although calling it tacky and cheesy is rude, it has an over planned, artificial feel to it. If the HOA is $345 a month or $4,140 a year plus property taxes, it erases the advantage to us over staying in NC. Why are the HOAs so crazy expensive? They were much lower where we lived in W. Palm and Boynton Beach FL. We do love the Savannah GA feel of the South and wonder if you can suggest other nearby areas that we could cap our housing purchase to $350,000 tops with lower monthly fees in the community? Really appreciate your video, it was really helpful and well done.
The HOAs cover the resort style amenities like pools, pickleball, tennis, fitness facility and other amenities. I'm not 100% sure on pricing but you could check out the 55+ community near Summerville.

How is the cost of the lot figured into price? Ex: shared villa vs single home
There are various lot premiums, depending on if you want a Waterview, wooded view or a berm.
Is this 55 and up and HOA current price?
Yes, that is correct

Very informative. If you have people moving to Maryland, Virginia or Washington DC, let me know. I will do the same if I have clients moving to SC.
Thank you. I love to send referrals.
@@lowcountrylifestyles thank you
It just seems like such a tacky, cheesy place.
Different strokes for different folks. I think it’s pretty cool, but definitely not for everyone.

@@lowcountrylifestyles I can see the amenities but that still doesn't justify that crazy high HOA. I think we'll just back to Florida.
