Anger is my fuel. I see things that anger me, I am motivated to change them. But you can't let the beast loose, or you will become what makes you angry in the first place. I had to quit drinking. My anger was finding bad ways of manifesting and it was ugly. Now, with it in control, I am more focused than ever. Henry is a good listen.
Henry has a brilliant mind and speak correctly, he is a master in conversation (i'm Italian and i'm learning english just hearing him!!) but i think that he doesn't know that would be a fantastic teacher, i can listen to him for hours, most school teacher boring me after 30 seconds.
I like how Pharrell caught HR on discrediting himself. I don't think anyone ever asked that question before. Henry looked sort of relieved/happy that the question was asked.
We hedge so much on the words of those we look to for answers. All the good ones ever say is look to your self. It's true. Ideas flow but who is brave enough to catch one and manifest it in the physical? That's all it takes. SOMEONE is listening, watching and appreciating. Most of all they are relating to an idea that passed them by.
heavymetal, your comment may quite be the last piece of the puzzle I was looking for in my whole mess of trying to put all the pieces together after a horrible binge over the last 2 months..... my anger too was coming out in ugly ways- now I am trying to better myself- and your comment surely helped!!!!!
I found it more interesting to watch Pharrell's reactions to Henry Rollins. Pharrell is obviously on par with Rollins yet in different way. Both of them would be some of my first choices for dinner guests.
Longtime Rollins fan so for me it was more about Pharrell, since I knew nothing about him apart from some of his music i hear at work. Gotta say....very interesting dude, just might have to check out his music.
Well, your welcome, I suppose! lol Not sure what the puzzle looks like, but if you got a direction on a piece from something I said, then all the better. The absence of alcohol in my life now has really cleared things up and I find I don't even miss it. Because everytime I drank, I mean EVERYTIME, something bad would happen to me. Not waking up with that feeling of dread and remorse at what I had done or said is such a great feeling. Perhaps you too!
Rollins spent all his youth railing against the system until he started driving a BMW and flying first class...now he's an ultraliberal who supports the system and channels his "anger" into acerbic remarks towards people. Billy Corgan was an outsider, alternative rocker who railed against false feelings and systematic reduction of humanity....he STILL holds those core beliefs of individual freedom and courage and doesn't feel the need to tear anyone down.
The constant changing of cameras and pointless angles are annoying. This is being treated like a music video changing the shot every couple seconds which I assume is a tactic to keep people's attention. This "high-end production value" is just distracting especially in the beginning. This is a conversation, not a dance video.
One of my few living heroes.

OK i am completely surrendered to this guy ! "records don´t judge you " Love him !
Anger can separate us and yet, anger can bring us together.

Listening to Henry always makes me feel better.
"And it doesn't manifest itself into things like hitting dogs or destroying property"

"Tackling fuel"
Anger is not your friend…. Rage can, and will destroy you if you’re not careful. Trust me.
The mental health profession could use some more jazz psychiatrists.
I do the same thing but with spite. Not anger.
