I remember the good old days, Its sad whats happened to pubs. I lived in The George in the 80's my best Mate lived in The Angel AKA The Brasserie Chalon My Dad trained as a pub manager at The Sefton. Thanks to the video uploader.
Hi Gaz. Thanks for the comment, the videos were originally to show all the old pubs in St Helens and the state of them now. The Counting House was originally the Nat West Bank but I could have put it in the final video if I had thought just to make up time ;o)
@SolaRainbow Thanks for the thanks :) I decided to grab pictures of all the pubs that were still open last year because as it's going there'll be none left soon. We have a pubs list over at sthelens-connect that members can view and add comment too. We are also on the lookout for any old pictures of St Helens in general. Pop in and have a browse :) (I can't post the full URL but you get the idea.
