When you have added a new path under Preference/Scripts, if you click the button below the paths box, this re-reads the scripts. There is no need to close and re-open Siril or use the command line. You have created some excellent videos on the Dwarf II and on Siril. Much appreciated. The Dwarf II brings details of the sky that I could never have imagined seeing through my own equipment. Traditional rigs whilst affordable to me, are beyond what I could be bothered to setup and maintain.
@@DeepSpaceAstrosince 2 weeks I have an ASIair, that safes FIT files, instead of the RAWs from my modified SONY A7r. That’s why I was wondering, if conversion is necessary. Next step will be an ASI 2600 MC Pro - than I can produce a Bias and Dark library. Or even Masterdark and Masterbias for a given temperature. So I will try your Skript for Master-Stacking as soon as I can try that cam! But still not sure, if the ASI2600 will really be worth the money! Can’t say if it will be that much better than my A7r… What do you think??
I'm trying to run one of the scripts from Siril, OSC_PreprocessingWithoutDBF.ssf and in the log it gives me a line 22:03:24: The "requires" command is missing at the top of the script file. This command is needed to check script compatibility. Yet its in the script. I even changed it to requires 1.2.0 with still the same issue. Script seems to run but never processes the fit files. When I run the other scripts they fail because they can't find files but never give me the "requires" error. I'm on a Mac. Thanks
I deleted the script and downloaded a new copy and the script runs. I think when I used the MacOS script editor must have changed something that Siril didn't like. I edited the requires command to show 1.2.0 and saved it. The MacOS text editor saves it with extension .rtf. (rich text format). I changed it to .ssf but I guess it has hidden changes that Siril doesn't like. Thanks.
I tested that theory with the MacOS text editor and changed the requires version to 1.2.0. The script runs. I guess somehow earlier today the file got corrupted. But with the new downloaded script it runs even after being edits. Thanks

Yeah I always forget about that button. Thanks for pointing it out. Thanks! Glad you've been enjoying the content
Thanks for the tutorial! :)
You're welcome!
Great idea, thank you.
You are welcome!
Thanks Rich!
You're welcome!
Rich i know this might be your jam but i would love to see you take moon from start to end use siril etc
I have a video for planetary in Siril, that should also work for the moon. ruclips.net/video/OyAmOKCTGLc/видео.html
Thx so much!!!
May I ask a question about the OSC-Skript?! Is the FIT Conversion necessary with Fit Files? Or could I Hashtag it?
It's necessary more for renaming as it goes through. If you're on windows and have developer mode turned on, it'll just create links.
@@DeepSpaceAstro thx!!!

Can't really say since I don't have those cameras. But generally, a cooled camera is going to give you better SNR.
Does it exist a script that combines Ha and RGB images?
There is not.

Great! Glad you got it sorted.
Rich is there a list of your scripts and Siril Scripts somewhere? Just want to make sure i have all the latest and greatest..
From the menu click get scripts and it'll take you to the Siril repository. I show how to do that in the video too.
@@DeepSpaceAstro Thanks Rich, sorry started to watch then had to actually do my job..
LOL. No worries. I know the feeling.
