Hi and thank you so much for your video! My husband and I went to Chinatown, went to all the places from your list and had a really good time! Thank you for sharing)
I've only been there one time. Been to Chicago several times, though I live in Indiana. My 6th grade teacher took the class to Chicago, and Chinatown. This video shows it's a lot different today than it was in 1971 when I was there.
Wow. The pagoda tower is cool. Realistic sized shops? Katy went to CHIcago CHInatown and went to the same candy store and to mango mango. The plating at the veggie house was so nice! We need a video of you two doing karaoke!
I live outside (northwest) of the city and I would love to go back there soon, because I enjoy the food and souvenir shops. For my birthday as a gift, my mom bought me a battery-operated golden cat statue that waves. Very cute. I've only been to one restaurant in Chinatown and I think it's out of business and that's Won Kow. I'm also amazed just how inexpensive merchandise is over there, considering it's in Chicago and they're imported.
You give helpful information - keep up the good job! Here’s a bit of advice though: look in the camera lens, that’s where your viewer is. You are looking away from your viewer if you’re looking at the camera’s viewfinder screen. A couple of inches makes a difference!
Great and amazing video, such an interesting walk of your beautiful city coupled great footage capture, great to see your channel get the recognition they deserve. I wait to see your channel grow even bigger, thanks for sharing my friend, love it!!!
I'm so behind on watching your videos! Need to catch up. Thanks for the shout-out and I loooove this video! Had no clue about the shaved ice spot - it looks delicious. I also DEFINITELY need to visit for a karaoke night!!! 😂 Nice job!!!!
Haha it's all good, there is so much content on RUclips to always try and stay up to date with (not to mention creating it, am I right?). Thanks for comment, I was hoping you'd be okay with me including that little portion of your video haha. And I agree about the karaoke!
@@WanderlustWellman I think I'm world's slowest editor lol, so can relate to the creating part! Will be catching up on more of your videos over the weekend - can't wait!
Great video! Are you from Chicago? I’m looking at moving there with a great job offer. The crime stats you see all over tv make me nervous. I’m assuming most crime is in gang areas like most cities?
Thanks! I only lived in Chicago for a year, so I wouldn't say I'm an absolute expert on the matter. What I will say is that most cities in the USA make me feel sketched out with the homeless people, swindlers, odd people on public transportation, etc. That being said, it is mostly localized to gang areas in the south side of Chicago. Crime still happens in traditionally more "safe" areas, but I honestly think if you have street smarts and stay out of trouble, it really isn't as big of an issue as you may think.
Is there a place in Chicago where I can purchase a Tang Dynasty sword? I am doing a photoshoot with a clothing style from the Tang Dynasty. I already have most of the clothing. But I need an authentic reproduction sword from the Tang Dynasty time period. Thank you very much.
It's not all that good. I was there the thing about it. The whole Chinatown itself has no public restrooms. Even the restaurants don't allow you to use their bathroom and your freaking dining in.🤯🤯
Haha I definitely included a lot of things besides ones that are strictly "Chinese", but there is a lot of things that are very Chinese on this list as well!
You are welcome to Chinatown any day of the week and thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Thank you for respecting Chinese culture.. Thank the blogger and everyone
Thank you! Love Chinese culture
@@WanderlustWellman ruclips.net/video/Mz1h1QbUjKo/видео.html, This is the most beautiful place in China and the best video display😄
The true is I almost shit my pants and those people won’t let you use their toilet

That's wonderful, and I'm not surprised that it's changed a lot in the last 40 years

We did too! Thanks for the comment 😀
❤❤ Thank you for your video going to Chicago next month so this handy 🎉🎉. This was excellent

Heading to Chicago next weekend! We intend to sight see and eat at all of these spots! Thank you!!
That’s great, Chinatown will be a great neighborhood to check out. Enjoy your trip!
Is there any special parking 🅿️ somewhere or can we just park anywhere and walk around ?
There are some parking lots, but you can also park on the street if you find an available spot.
Thanks for the hints!

Thanks so much! I’ll keep that in mind, I try and be authentic and want to connect with my viewers more so I’ll definitely work on it👍
When I move one day maybe I could live in Chicago Chinatown now looking at this video.❤
That's wonderful, it definitely is a really great area to spend some time in!
Hi how many time do you spent just walk around all china town? Thank you!
It depends on how many stores you go into and if you get any meals, but I would recommend a half day to a full day!
Thank you for sharing 🙏🏾🤗
Chinatown is always beautiful to explore🤩 👍🏾
It really is! Thanks for watching

I hate finding parking in Chinatown. Especially on the weekends.
I can definitely understand that

My favorite!!!
Chinatown in Chicago is pretty rad!
Is it easy to pick up Chinese girls in China town?
I can't answer that, I am a married man hahaha
Very intressting upload. Take care and have a nice week my friend.
Thank you! You too!

Agree they will not even care about it, if you going to shit in your pant
bro recommended a veggie restaurant first...
Tu deh zheure
Oh no man, those are the 3 worst restaurant recommendations. Only Richland was good.
Best things to do in Chicago Chinatown:
Japanese candy store
French bakery
Japanese sushi
Vietnamese restaurant
😂
You didn't build the neighborhood but I found it funny

Well make sure to check out my future content showcasing Chinatown in Singapore!
Thought I would see Chinatown... instead half of your video is showing your face. Thanks.
