We fit fridges, but of course you can fit a freezer. The solar provides energy to charge/top up the batteries. There are plenty of 12V freezers available, which you could wire up to.
Hi David, some EV manufactures provide a 'take off' supply which allows you to connect directly to the traction battery (via a DC to DC converter) as traction batteries are typically 350-400V, and clearly the fridge is much less. Sometimes they do this by allowing you to connect to the vehicle 12V, which i frown upon, as the 12V battery is for safety equipment in the vehicle, typically an AGM/LEAD and not designed for high use. We therefore continue to put our own batteries in, so we avoid interfering with the traction battery, and should anything go wrong with the traction battery/vehicle during a days 'rounds' we know we've go the contents 'covered' inside the vehicle for a good period of time. The solar allows the batteries/fridge to charge and run from a dead start. We just did another conversion last Friday on our latest MAXUS.
Very nice, does the solar cooling system, reach minus 18 degrees, please

how do you find the van after owning it for a while now?
Perfectly happy, hard to get parts sometimes, but other than that great.
Not a ccs plug, that's a type 2,
What about parking on your drive, instead of the pavement? Consider pedestrians
I wouldn't have thought you could run a fridge unit on an ev.
