- Welcome Back to all our great viewers and hello everybody that is new to our channel. In our first episode of our 2008 Bugatti Veyron Refresh, we show how easily we spent over 30 thousand dollars on our major service with a how to of the major service components. We also show how easy you can take Veyron apart and what we decided to restore on our 15 year old car.
Some bad editing, terrible sound quality but great content make this a one to watch.
Like, comment (Good or Bad), and please Subscribe if you haven't as we go along the next few episodes restoring our Bugatti Veyron!

I'm an Aircraft Technician and I see alot of similarities in some parts: Titanium bolts, those transmission filters are 100% aircraft parts repurposed, and that air duct from the front brakes is an aircraft part for sure.
So if you buy them from an aircraft mechanic, they might be cheaper?
@@etonthompson5175 Probably not. Aircraft parts are very expensive due to QC and certification.
Spot on, the manufacturer of the spoiler and brake system is the french manufacturer of Dassault fighter jets parts too as much as i remember.
@@bob808 probably yes they are
@@etonthompson5175Why? Cause it's all controlled to make you pay, PAY more👁️
Love that Raymond is so picky & precise … then he uses the front end of the Ferrari as a work bench. Priceless.
lol
Uncle Ray Ray has the best job in the world is always surrounded by the best vehicles on the planet✅😁🤑
Wow what a video. There is no-one like Raymond on RUclips who shows so much passion for his cars, and who does things the correct way every time. Thank you for sharing, something that no Bugatti dealership service centre or garage would ever show. Please don't take so long before you upload the next video, always love your content....
Raymond nice to see you back on RUclips again we all missed your content. Crazy service on the Bugatti but it needs to get done and that's all cool. Again nice to see you back and keep up the great work buddy 👍
How much is Martin's labour compared to a bugatti tech...? 🤔
Using an SF90 as a parts table is Rich!
SF90 Parts table. I love it! 😅🤣
Good to see you Uncle Ray Ray!
Nice to see you again Uncle Ray Ray!😊
I love how u used the ferrari as a work bench lol. Gangster
as soon as I heard the Mechanic speak with the German accent, I knew it shit is gonna be top-notch👌🏻🏆
Nice uncle Raymond
For such a complicated and over engineered car… the service access seems well thought out and impressive
Ehh yes and no. I’d like to see what an alternator change is like, AC compressor, blower motor swap, etc. Other common items that I guarantee are absolutely buried deep in this car and require a lot more work
@@CarbonRevo91 You are right. Everything else is a disaster lol
look who remembers that they have a RUclips channel.
missed you, Uncle Ray-Ray!
🎊
Thanks for showing this. It gives excellent insight as to why these cars are so expensive to maintain and Bugatti dealers charge what they do.
UNCLE RAY RAY welcome back 💚💚💚🇨🇦 For the front splitter can you do like Lamborghini and put that hardwood under it to protect it!! 🤔🤔
Who the hell is heavy breathing in the video it’s driving me nuts lol glad to see you on utube uncle ray ray lol
Always a good day when uncle ray ray posts a video. Love how down to earth you are and willing to give us this knowledge.
Glad to see you back!
Great to see you again @UncleRaymond , keep the videos coming and more often , take care, peace.
👍👍👍
Nice vid.. Thanks for fixing Darth Vader in the first 10 min of the video :)
Gloss carbon suits this car much better than matte.
I was thinking to send my Chiron to Bugatti. Now I gonna do at my shop. Thank you very much.
Chiron Early services are free...
Love the attention to detail and how much pride is taken in your shop’s work. Martin is the man!
OMG! thank you for the Video. My Boogatti, needs this service done for over a year now. I could only afford a Jiffy Lube Service but they don't work on Boogatti.
You could have bought those brake ducting hoses from Aircraft Spruce for a lot less.
the good thing is that the veyron rarely break down and the chiron is even better
You predicted Martins ability vs what you would alot. Martin happened to be right every time. Its awesome you learned and teach but martin is master
Those brake ducts are actually just a generic hose trimmed down from bulk. They aren’t Bugatti specific. You can buy a roll for like 100 bucks max, and you will get about 12 of them for a roll. I was an assembly tech for some well
Known manufacturers, and use to trim these down by hand. Lots of race cars also use them. Don't buy them from Bugatti…. Save yourself the tax.
Looks like this car is equally exciting for drivers and for mechanics. :-)
Now I finally know where the battery is located 11 : 35
I have been curious for a long time wondering where it was fitted.
Uncle Ray Ray came to visit ... thanks uncle Ray Ray we've missed you
Love
Awesome video. I know that you're using a lavalier mic, but you should improve on the mixing. Most of the time I could hear the breath of the cameraman
Thank you for the video, was very entertaining. Really helped me get my mind off my own car issues im having.
I thought you had died uncle Ray Ray hahaha 😂😂😂😂😂 Have you been on the toilet this whole time or something?? 😊😊😊😊😊❤
Uncle Ray Ray glad to see ya back man
Thank you for taking the time to show the small details. Wish to see a Koenigsegg maintenance someday.
No way I can’t believe you guys posted I’ve actually been waiting fuck yeah Uncle Raymond is back dde fam
Keep the awesome videos rolling guys!
Bout time uncle ray ray!!!
11 drain oil plugs Damm that’s is insane engineering from Bugatti, we need Bugatti back to formula one that they did almost 68 years ago.
I agree with Uncle Ray Ray. If you get a vehicle new used like he did everything he's doing I would have done to just for Peace of mind. I also would have done it with a trust knowing that if I ever sell it before the service is due I know it's been done and can prove it.
Bugatti knows how to fleece their customers !
great videos i i was wandering if your Pagani or Koenigsegg was at one of your stores location because i would love to film it some time if i get the time to check it out! thanks :)
Nice to see you again Uncle Ray Ray! :)
Uncle Ray Ray 👍🏽👍🏽
Put a PPF on the underside of the front lip to save it!
After seeing the parts price list, it reminds me of PT Barum's famous quote... one is born everyday....
Uncle Ray Ray!!!
This notification came as a bit of a shock, i thought there never be another upload.
Good job Uncle Ray Ray and good to see you again. Love that car
Welcome back uncle Ray Ray
Fascinating and captivating too!
We love u ray ray vis a vis dde 😅🥳👍🏻👊🏻
Glad to see you are back in the RUclips game Raymond. Keep it up!! 👍🏻
Very unique content - you should have 2mln views on that - but hey...not too many bugatti owner out there.
About time uncle ray ray
Uncle ray ray there Is no way I saw an orange ringed square filter (fram) ones in that Bugatti 😂
Finally uncle ray
Good to have you back Ray! Enjoyed your OCD approach to servicing :^) Your remote mic seems to have died as the audio signal degraded when you moved away. Looking forward to the continuation!
Please! post more often if possible. It grows your channel, the more post.. love from Nashville
Uncle Ray you need to post more you have great knowledge to share
Also you are very follow able > new word I guess
Keep it up and thanks for the free content
In awe of the work done 👏
Uncle Ray Ray ❤️
The cost of these parts are crushing my dreams
uncle ray ray let’s gooooo
Great to have you back Raymond:)
TOP NOTCH! AS ALWAYS.
Was there wires showing on the new pump? Sure looked like it when he turned it over.
Mega video. You need remote Mic so we don't have to hear camera man nose breath 😂
Nice all I need is a veyron
Let’s go uncle ray ray!! 🎉❤
Hearing the person recording breathing killed me. I couldn't make it too far...
Not really feeling the green pin striping Ray Ray 😕 😊😊😊😊
Would you consider selling or giving away the used parts?
YOLO Hope everyone is doing great
Love these type of video. Need more 👍
Very interesting and thanks for sharing. Its a Bugatti not a Jetta so i would expect these parts and the service to be expensive its a multi million dollar car. I noticed you mention you drive it and curious to know if you have ever taken on a road trip of 150km or more.
Cheers and regards!
I have driven this car quite a bit. Drove it from LA to San Fran couple years ago.
Looks like it needs a nice dry ice detailing
How can the parts be so much. That is just crazy. Taking advantage of there customers.
Very interesting
How can a filter be more expensive than an accumulator ? That is crazy there’s 2 filters on the Veyron that costs the same or more you could buy a running and driving car for
Great video....maybe work on the audio...good to see your back!!
uncle rayray!!!
Cheers
Can u guys do another video on the 812 n largo?
Welcome back Uncle RayRay 😃
Enjoy watching the SF90 being used as a workbench😂
The camera man is breathing so loud😂
AS PER normal person ive have to comment as per , and people normaly dont comment but AS PER watching we will comment as per as per, as per
THE RETURN OF UNCLE RAY RAY!!!!!
Great video well way of describing along the way, the Veyron is my ultimate dream car , I was fortunate enough back in 2018 to get an allocation spot for a 2019 Aventador SVJ Coupe which I special ordered to my liking in Ithaca Verde Green Black leather and Alcantara interior green deviated stitching Carbon Fiber Seats Red seat belts as much Carbon Fiber inside and out I'm in Scottsdale Arizona 🌵 and I only have 415 miles on her and she's never been wet or seen a cloudy day sticker on her was close to $700k I own her outright I'm 65 and I've owned several Ferraris as well as Lamborghini's I'm new to all this social media and I enjoyed your video and I subscribed, keep up the great in depth videos especially on the Veyron I would definitely buy one tomorrow if it was the right one and I would never give up my SVJ, keep me in mind if you come across a mint low mileage Veyron. Cheers Gentlemen can't wait to see it driving! 👌🏼
Uncle Ray. Ray. DDE WHERES DAMON AND DAVE LOL. THEY NEED SPANKINGS. 😂
hey uncle ray ray -- happy 30th anniversary this year, but might wanna change that logo that is still from 2018
Haha, it is on my todo...
Great video. Cameraman needs to adjust microphone setup…. Boom and dead cat or wireless system. Anything to avoid his heavy breathing in the background….
I have an absolute disdain for Impact Wrenches simply because most people do not know how to use them, there are even experienced mechanics that have no idea.
Most 1/2" pneumatic impact wrenches from reputable manufacturers produce well over 400 Newton Meters [295 ft/lb] of torque on their highest setting.
I generally use them as nut runners on the lowest setting and ALWAYS start off by installing the fastener manually for the first few threads.
I even note that my local tire shop has NO impact wrenches at all, I have even questioned them on this.
I had a running battle on this subject a decade ago when colleagues were urging me to mechanise our operations by switching to this method, not one of them were mechanically inclined and I believe that their wisdom came from watching too much Discovery Channel.
This is more headache than it is eorth, even after I mentored our senior mechanic it was less than 4 minutes and he messed up!
I see the mention of this at 11 : 30
My only exception is heavy 3/4", 1" & 11/2" impact wrenches for the remival of wheels on trucks and heavy earthmoving / mining equipment.
I once put in an offer for a two bedroom house for 32000$, it sold for 33000.🤯
I’m sure you’re going to replace the airbags in the future if needed because they are expired after 10 years.
