I have not had that much experience using electronics on my ukuleles. I can plug in and test that it works, but I just don't play enough using electronics to be a good judge of how they sound. I agree with you, though, that this would look really good in front of an audience. Thanks, Adam.
Yes. Who knows exactly why. I picked up a beautiful Caramel concert this morning. Played it for a few minutes. Put it back down. Listed it for sale. People can change the sounds of their ukuleles, of course, by changing strings. There's no reason the solid top Donners shouldn't sound great.
@@toddsell5460 Hey Tod i don’t know if this helps but i put on low g flurocarbon strings and my low g string would fit in the soundboard correctly, had to do a lot of shaving down and sort of tweaking to get it to sit right
Yowza, Now that's a Uke to have in front of an audience 👯, how good is the Caramel preamp compared to others you've had ?

Baritones sound so smooth.😊😊😊
Yes, best sounding ukulele, for sure!
That is a true beauty!! WOW! The ease with which you play, makes me think that the action is set up nicely.
Of all the Caramel baritone ukuleles I've had and still own, I've never known one to have lower or higher action than the others. Thanks, Joan. Rich
That’s a beauty!
Thanks, Steve. Rich😊
WHAT WAS THE PRICE?😮😮
I think I sold this for $160 or $180. Boy what a beauty. I probably paid $60 for it.
BTW, cool shirt 😎🤙👍
Thank you. I like it! Rich
This looks a lot like my Mitchell concert.
I really like zebrawood ukuleles. I don't recall seeing a Mitchell zebrawood, but I guess they have one. Thanks, Kathy. Rich
Really nice baritone!!!😊😊😊😊
Thank you! 😃
Rich the other day when you demo'd the donner and the aklot concert ukes... did the aklot sound better to you too?

@@richdavis4007 Wonder if it's the strings going through the sound board
@@toddsell5460 I don't know.
