In most restaurants food is plated without gloves they just want you to make sure you are washing your hands regularly. Wearing gloves is not a replacement for washing your hands (but gloves are typically used for prepping)
If I'm handling that much meat and expecting a lot of people to eat, I'm definitely wearing plastic gloves. I expect the same level if cleanliness from where I i eat. So I'd pass on those burgers.😅
