Did you even notice in the very end on 16:05 how does the water draining out of the helmet?! Fckin madness! Even you pop up from the water doesnt mean you can see the light and breath! Im born and grown up by the sea and knowing how it is diving the huge waves... without equipment though. Robby you are the man from iron, the warrior! You children should be proud of you! The first thing to survive from drowning is to keep calm at all time, even tho the waves are massive just don't panic and just go with the flow of the waves cos the waves will take you back to the shore or bring you back up to the top. Im from the island next to Hawaii with experience n we know how big are the waves in there. Just always be safe when you go for a swim or if u don't really know how to swim just stay away from the deep ocean.

I'm paused at six twenty two, I'll reiterate that this is the breakdown of the coolest thing I've ever seen. But as a jet ski guy I'd ditch the helmet and the boots then contact hydro-turf and get the first ever set of custom dirt ski pegs. Also if I'm gonna have to swim for my life I'll wear shorts and a proper floaty vest, nothing more, nothing less.
Would it be possible to insert a mini oxygen tank into a helmet like the one he was wearing so you could have an emergency air source in times like this?
If anyone involved could comment on the risk management in place would be appreciated. 2 things from the video seem like they were missed... no life jacket and the issue with the gloves when getting rescued. I mean props to Robbie... amazing pics ... but would be so interested to see how they managed the risk. Thanks guys!!

This was a great comedy. lovely stuff there. glad you survived to be able to pat yourself on the back so much lol. there was so many funny parts, my fav was 'my boots filled up with water and started pulling me Down...i did know what way was up or down or sideways lol ....really now ...lol 9:55 anyway, ill giver a like. again, great comedy. thank for the vid
Why not make special boots with one way valves at the bottom that allow water to run out but not in. Or a lot of vents. Then you won’t get that sinking effect. Croc slippers have lots of holes they can be used for swimming but no sinking.
Rob is nasty on a bike he was my favorit dude out of all the guys who ride their are good riders out their doing crazzy insane stuff on dirt bikes but he dose it with grace

I have never experienced waves that big at all but I thought if you just go under water quite deep then they just go over you and don't flip you all around
yeah, if there's somewhere to go underneath. There's only a few feet of water here before you hit the reef and these waves are so big it wouldn't matter anyway
oh shit so the biggest waves I've gone under are at tenerife (like 10 foot) and it was fine but i guess these are way worse i wouldn't want to get into a set of those
Definitely the "heaviest" part of the three. I don't understand why he had to wear full gear for riding on water. Definitely feel like that greatly increased the chance of drowning mainly so they could slap more branding on the rider. He would've been fine in boots, trunks, life vest, gloves, and (maybe) a helmet with goggles no?
