Today we managed to tick off a lot of demo jobs on our to-do list, as well as started making our first structural change; taking down the chimney! More surprises have been unveiled as well - - - this demo stage has been very interesting so far!

if your are having all that floor up now could be the perfect time to insulate under it. With all these fires looks like you're going to miss the chimneys with real fires in. going to need to install a wood burner somewhere :)

Thankfully there’s concrete under what was the base flooring and will be screeding over that concrete once the rotten wood has gone! I saw your question and was going to keep it for a q&a video 😂 The fireplace in the living room will have a wood burner once we get to that pretty progress :)
