Eff these people...doing construction in any house causes dust...and I wouldn't worry about breathing this much dust one day...people are too alarmist... I've never heard of any granite guy getting silicosis...its mainly coal miners...and it takes years for that

Was your saw ok? I suppose it's only dust. I hate cutting stuff that might damage my tools 😁. Very interesting option though. Thanks for sharing. Well done for going for it

Yes it was all good the diamond blade was exactly the same dimensions as a standard plunge saw blade so everything worked perfectly

Can you post the blade you used for this please? All the track saw blades I have found are just for thinner fibrous board. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. I found it interesting that your last (and deepest) cut enabled the vacuum dust collection to be more effective.

This blade is especially made for tracksaws so as long as you take your time you’ll not wreck anything

We used an old track saw to cut cement board siding and the fine dust f it up, we blew the dust off regularly but it blows in even more and it gets in the bearings, motor etc and all the saw movements got sticky.

I’m sure that homeowner, especially the wife, was extremely happy with the amount of granite dust you blew throughout that beautiful new kitchen and the rest of the house Einstein. Next time have your partner, Dill Doe,hold another vac hose at the front of that blade ,being that you need to make half a dozen passes to cut through that granite Jackie J-Oh.
