The difference is that "starkids" get chances on sets and big budget movies to try out acting and evolve eventually ( and even if they didn't... They will still get opportunities)... But the outsiders have to prove themselves from the get go otherwise no more opportunities. Sad.

The issue with Bollywood is they don’t want to hear what the audience wants. The are making crappy content. In the day and age of Netflix and many other OTT platforms audience have access to global entertainment content. Gone are the days where we had very few options. The audience now understands what good content is and hence preferences have changed. We just don’t want to see good looking people doing mediocre work. We need actors playing characters whom we can relate to and stories that are worth telling and entertaining.
You just pour out my heart. You are absolutely correct about the whole fact that why people are less interested in Bollywood. I mean it's 2022, literally no body wishes to watch those same chessy baseless repetitive stories where nothing makes sense at all. I mean come on both the audience and it's taste has upgraded and they need to offer the audience with some raw and good content, not just with some same typical Bollywood movies from the 90s and early 2000s and 2010s. They have just replaced the actors and the cinematography rest they haven't made any changes, I mean they have not even tried yet to bring change and here comes some arrogant actors and actresses doing interviews and bursting out that they don't make the audience see them. I mean this is total bullshit, if you can't take criticism then stop offering us bullshit in the name of movies. First of all Bollywood is literally giving crappy contents from the past 5-4 years and then they react on why audience is being intolerant and mean to them. Plus the rest of the contents they provide is either remix from the South Indian movies or marathis. I've stopped watching bollywood movies long long back and have no interest in it at all but wants to share my opinion as the matter has brought up into discussion. And I still wonder how they are still managing to make such crappy contents after so much of criticism. What a shame.

The issue with Bollywood is that they don't want to hear the audience preferences...but a big role is also held with their fans.. There are many fan clubs who're willing to promote even their hero's crap movies both in Bollywood, as well as Tollywood! The only difference is, Tollywood is willing to listen to their fan clubs!! I don't want to show examples since it's gonna b*tt-hurt some fans, but it is true- So the actors itself won't know if they actually did better or not, and so, they keep on going with concepts or acting. TBH, speaking about Telugu movies, I don't hate their acting at all, but some ideas, or stories they portrait, I kinda don't like it, it's not realistic and speaking of Bollywood, only very few movies are good these days! I miss Old Bollywood soo much :(

liger was highly disappointing...Vijay tried his best but still when the script isn't good enough nobody can do anything and Ananya's acting as usual forgettable.

I believe people need to watch movies like Tashkent files, Major, Jana Gana Mana, Rocketry, Kashmir files etc. These movies have good stories and do deserve our love. I believe we should support underrated actors who have good acting skills, then someone who doesn't know how to act. Acting is an art which needs to be respected. But nowadays it's really hard to spot good actors in Bollywood.

Bro Ileana is one of the finest actress trust me. Bookywood dint use her properly but in south she has a handful of few of the best movies like pokiri julayi kick jalsa rakhi aata bhaledongalu devadasu so many more. You’ll love her films in each film she portrays a different character. She’s a really good actress.

I agree with most of your points. But when you compared Alia-Ileana and Sonakshi-Shraddha.If you consider there first movie only then Ileana was far better than Alia in first movie and though Phata poster..and Main tera hero were not that successful movies but they were comedy movies and Ileana did her part well in those movies. And coming to Shraddha-Sonakshi,although I like Shraddha much more than Sonakshi still I would say in terms of acting Sonakshi is far better than Shraddha. Just see Lootera. Shraddha hasn't shown any variety in acting she can't do character roles. You were judging acting skills only on the basis of movie success like if the movie is hit then they would have done good acting and if movie is bad then they have done bad acting. It's not like that.

The reality is that, these girls like ananya, jahanvi, Tara, urvashi , vaani ,Shanaya Kapoor and many such so called actresses are good for modelling field as they got that body required for that purpose and they can carry dresses easily but the thing is, a person gets no to very less recognition in fashion field or modelling field cause modelling is not that field where common people of India can connect like they connect with bollywood movies for entertainment purpose, any person who does good work in modelling is supposed to work in movies whether he/she knows acting or not but just that she got an attractive personality she becomes the actress there are so many examples of this look at bipasha basu she was so good at modelling but was suggested to work in Bollywood, then most of our pageant winners ends up joining bollywood and most recent example of this is manushi chillar, As we take the example of usa there is a Gigi Hadid of modelling field then there is Beyonce of music industry and then there is angelina jolie of Hollywood, they all are from different field but when it comes to popularity, recognition and net worth it is almost same . I saw bhool bhulaiya 2 and what a horrible movie, idk what people liked in it , all kartik and kiara did was overacting. Tabu was the only person "acting" throughout that movie.

I remember watching Jhanvi's episode on Koffee with karan and when he asked her how did you deal with how Roohi flopped, both karan joker and jhanvi said that she had Nadiya Paar song and she didn't bother how the movie went.... Like what does that mean? Did she only care about looking pretty in that song and not act in the movie? Did she not care about the producer's money.... And her only concern and mission was that song?
