Formula Vee 2021, Anglesey Coastal, Race 2

Exciting, with close and clean racing making it one of my favorites of the season so far. 😁 I got a decent start and finding an inside line into turn one I briefly got alongside Richard Rainbow before backing out to avoid the grass. 😬 After dicing with Craig Hurran, I found the colourful Filari Tasso of Phil Waterhouse behind chomping at the bit to get past. Down the inside of Rocket corner under braking I passed Richard Raindow, and continued to close the gap to Bill Wom Garner and Steve Bailey up the road who were squabbling over position. I sat on their tails for the latter few laps while defending from Richard behind. A handful of times getting alongside Bill, once even getting a nose in front but couldn't make it stick.🥵 I crossed the line less than half a second behind Bill to take the 13th spot, my second best finish of the season yet. 💪

Driver you have nice smooth hands on the wheel good drive. It is good to see drivers in close races that have RESPECT for the other drivers and cars GREAT

Is your car underpowered compared to the front runners? Or are there different classes/age of cars on the track? You seem to make up ALL SORTS of ground under braking. But off the corners and on the straights it looks fairly even with the cars around you. Really enjoying your footage!!! Great open wheel racing!

Hi Jay, glad your enjoying the footage. I am underpowered yes, hopefully will have this rectified over the winter for next season and can run consistently in the top 10. There are two classes but engine and power are same across the field. Its mostly suspension configuration that defines the classes. A class B driver won the championship. 😉
