Really stoked on these guys. Really feel like this is a fresher take on nu metal. Really satisfied with the full release. Couldn’t care less about how short the songs are. Dislike & bloodsucker are so tasty.
This band may be incredibly generic, but they cracked the code on breakdown core. They dont overextend songs because they know it gets repetitive. It’s a quick hit job: in and out and no lefts or rights just straight to the chest. The guitars aren’t flooded with distorsion and they really make a good use of the bass player and the drummer to deliver the punch of the music rather than the guitars (which is what you see a lot in this type of metalcore. Knocked Loose is a great example). Also, whoever is producing this is a music genius (I believe is the guitarrist that plays for Humanity’s Last Breath and Vildhjarta, who is also in Thrown). The way the music is crafted, how the band just never loses any momentum, and even the vocal delivery choices are just so well put together is hard to deny that despite how musically bland the band is, every single minute of their music is worth listening to. I found myself grooving and having a lot of fun listening to this record than I thought I would. This is most likely the best album I’ve heard in a long time. I usually tend to hate on this style of metalcore but these guys are doing it better than most other bands (ignoring the fact that someone in the band is dumping stacks on promoting the band on Spotify. These guys are truly playing the game). Hats off to them!
Some songs are pretty good even if they feel samie. Got mixed feelings though, this shortness is just weird to me, also prefer more variety in vocals. Would be interested hearing these songs extended with different parts instead of them being just a minute long breakdowns
Terrible band. Nothing dynamic, every song is like the same but the worst thing of all is the vocals… this guy can’t sing , only screaming and all the screams are also the same. What a goddamn overrated recognition
"On the Verge" is just perfection. Every line hits way to close to home. That break-down is unreal. I love everything about it.
Got to see Thrown in perth with Darkmatter and Pincer+. Amazing show. They sound just like the record.
Oi same, mental show. My mate got knocked out 🤣
These guys are like if NF went metal. And it's amazing lol
Not really seeing it. It just feels like a fresher, metalcore cross with a modern nu metal feel. I love it.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl mentioned!
Best game of all time, I have a gaming channel with a playthrough at @roguenjoshplays
The best 20 min of my life

Just seen these guys live last night and they ABSOLUTELY KILLED IT
15:52 it’s not a filter, it’s sting harmonics

Thanks I love thrown 10/10
That 00:45 chunky groove on the last track had me repeating and just laughing for like 20 minutes
What an album
Played the full album at work on repeat(I work at a 7-11) got some construction workers to like this band

Not my style
