A house with a 6 car garage is slim around Western Pennsylvania. Though I believe Mr. & Mrs. AutoVlog with Sidney, pretty happy in their home and managing well with their single car garage. That's the type of house you find all around Pittsburgh. [On the other hand, humbly stand corrected. Six car garage high life living is located around Fox Chapel and Pink Hill districts on the opposite side of the Burgh (where Mike films his vlog material).]

I raced one of these the other night. I beat him. But he still left me with the feeling of wanting to own one some day. It truly is a beautiful machine. I love Mercedes drivers, they aren’t afraid to be wild.
Nice video! I have C63S as well and test drove normal C63 before I purchased mine. Difference to me personally is massive, I might feel it because my driving style is very aggressive and with racing background I push the car a lot but definitely better package than the normal C63. Steering could be a lot tighter and precise but luckily that has been fixed in the new AMGs. Performance exhaust absolutely needed. By going one level up wit the tires from 4S the 0-60 time will increase by 0,1-0,3 seconds.
In between getting a C63, a Lexus IS350, or a Charger R/T as one of my next car. Is there any dealbreakers you have found that make this car not likeable, also I am planning to have this car for a while if I do choose the C63 out the bunch do you see this as a 4-5 year ownership car?

Technically the wheel setup is still staggered because of the different widths of tire from front to back. Staggered wheel size almost never relates to the diameter of the wheel on a car.
I love your C63 id keep it til the wheels fell off! You don't see too many badass looking black AMG's even in Calif as clean as yours. I say it's a keeper!
Keep it.. I think you would regret it. I do not think it can be replaced with anything that comes close in character. Just buy another car separate without pawning the AMG.

Very clean but aggressive look. Cars like this are harder to sell than others. I been there a couple of times when it toked me two-three attempts to actually go ahead and sell/trade in my ride. But as you said, there are so many other cars out there that also deserve a chance and if you can do it why not? You will miss this car, 100% but in the same time enjoy many others! Especially if you are in the RUclips $$ making business, you must move on, like it or not. It's the best alround car imo it's a combination of being just about exotic enough with the sound and relative speed yet comparably affordable plus actually practical - you even get a bit of Stealth under the radar too Complete package as you say

It was killing me that you set the Dollar Shave box and all those items right on the paint on the rear of the AMG. It reminded me of the time my grandfather dumped an old coffee can of miscellaneous screws and nuts onto the hood of my dad's brand new pickup truck in order to sort through them to find a specific sized one. My dad just about had heart failure and ever so delicately picked up each and every one individually so as to try not to scratch the paint.
David Newbold I bought my first new car when I was 22 years old..a VW Beetle (I paid for it, btw). On the way back from the dealer, my Mom wanted to stop off at the Mall. I parked way away from other vehicles to avoid door dings. My Mom got out of the car, turned around and used her butt to close the door. Put a big dent in it. I hadn't even had it an hour. Managed not to swear at her, but I was really upset.
Werecat I doubt much will change from 19-20. Definite nothing major as 2019 was the facelift halfway through the 4 year run. All the major changes are new for 19. The next will be in 2021 with a new cycle. At least that’s how it normally goes. Either way time will tell in my case cuz like I said by the time I order it will likely be a 20 anyway.
Your alcantara wheel is not "worn out" it's actually just dirty and matted down with oil. You can clean it with a microfibre and soapy water. I did it with mine and it comes out like new.

@@ajalamcgregor9354 maintenance 😅😅. I’ve had it for a year. $1200 tires, schedule A-250-350, schedule B-(dealership 6 $625), oil change-$150, alignment-(dealership$ 325 but I found cheaper for $150. Also brake pads can run $600-2000 depending on service. I’m also new to the Mercedes world so still learning about maintenance but my ignorance cost me a lot of $ so the more research, the better you’ll be.

I live in Portugal, the C63s in Portugal due to heavy goverment taxes, has a price tag starting in the 120.000€ range thats 141.268,20$, gas in Portugal costs 1,8€ per liter, thats 2,12€ per 0.2641720524 gallon, the yearly tax you play on this car in Portugal (circulation tax) is 1060,00$.
They did work on the sound specifically and all their work was subsequently squandered by downpipes?.....it sounds ragged, too much like nascar, and a tad ruined (maybe/hopefully it sounds better in real life rather than video). The stock sounded better IMHO. To each their own, glad you enjoy it. It definitely is by far the best looking C class I've seen and the visual mods you done to it are on point and fit with the car perfectly. An F12 is the ultimate dream, I'd say move on.
for burnouts: activate racestart depress the brake pedal while pedaling down the accelerator pedal (dont reach the limiter from the racestart), you immediately release the brake pedal and then you make the burnout of your life. or in simpler terms. racestart on. As the revs rise, you just go off the brake and press the accelerator pedal.
That's the thing about dreams (dream car), don't be so harsh on him for dreaming BIG. If selling the AMG to get to that next level dream is what it takes I support that decision..

I’m 21 years old… I don’t quite own a c63 particularly but I do own a blacked out 250d ‘C edition’ of the same generation… and oh do I still love my car ❤
The seats are not the standard seats. You have the option Recaro seats So the ventilation doesn’t work. As for the transmission, the 9 speed is more fuel efficient and less clunky.

To me this is the best "middle range" Mercedes sports car. It's just poetic. Kinda like the way you've set it up. If you have turned it back, I hope you got something crazier and better. This car is very difficult to replace.

From listening to Scotty Kilmer kill Beamer, Benz and Land Rover in his channel, and your honest to goodness opinion of your C63s, I can honestly say you make a better case for Mercedes Benz owners over a veteran mechanic with 50+ years experience.
I love my one. I have had 3 in the last 11 years. My present one is a keeper. The only problem I have had is the glass roof became very slow to close. Oh one other problem my wife drives it more than I do.
The carbon fiber add on's, wheels and black emblems gave it a classy and aggressive look. Sharp looking. I would say keep it and wait on the Ferrari if both aren't in the budget. The F12 isn't going anywhere. The smile on your face at the end says it all. The best or nothing.
Make the move, already. Don't hold onto a vehicle, home, or anything based on feeling. Make the smart financial choice. Anyone who says otherwise is NOT someone to take financial advice from.
As soon as the computer in that car calculates when you are out of Warranty, the fun begins! Just like the movie "Maximum Overdrive" it will pop out error codes just to mess with you, plastics will degrade and crack in your hands, seals and rubber will begin to leak and seep. You like sunroofs, power seats, and suspension that works, lol, hope not. I think you should hang on to it.....
i drive mine for 3000km now ( facelift version ). The only thing what annoys me are the crackling sounds from the interior. And also there is a squeak sound somewhere in the back left wheel everytime i accelerate the car. But this car gives you a different level of driving. The sound, the feeling.... unbelieveable. So many people are talking to you, showing you the thumbs up, kids chasing your car and other compliments. I live in germany, so i also had some races on the german autobahn with other sportcars. Its so fun! Driving never made me so happy before. But its veeeery expensive. Sometimes im twice a day at the tankstation ( everytime about 100 EUR ). So if you want a C63s, be prepared to pay over 500€ a month at the tank station.

Chrome delete is badass dude it makes a car look so good.I had a2010 Buick lacrosse cxl that i wrapped all the chrome in gloss black and painted the wheels gloss black.Not spray paint either,it looked amazing.
I'm only one minute in and I'm pausing to comment. Keep the C63s! What the hell else are you going to replace it with that wont be far more expensive or far less refined? It's like the gentleman's modded GT350 but better. It's worth keeping for sure. - coming from a 2012 C63 Edition 1 coupe owner.
The car needs to be traded in because it will hit rock bottom resale prices very soon! Ive had my Toyota Camry 2005 for almost 18 years with well over 350,000 kms. Still runs like a champ. Toronto, Canada.
It does sound pretty incredible, not gonna lie. I am an Audi man, and RS5 is my nest purchase (currently own an S5), and the car even sounds nicer than the B8.5 RS5 which is a naturally asparated V8

They look gorgeous murdered out like yours, and you're absolutely right about that sound! I hope to have the opportunity to own, or at least drive, one someday.
A few years ago, I had a '98 F-150 STX reg. cab short wide bed with SVT Lightning wheels and a Flowmaster exhaust. Every time I was under an overpass I would floor it (automatic) to hear that wonderfull sound (:

i have told this to many car reviewers but none of them have taken my advice. invest in one of those 360 degree audio systems (like the one 'smarter every day' used for Falcon Heavy) so we can hear what the engines sound like if we were really there
Lako Yea he got rid of it for the much less problematic Ferrari. He may be smart but its not for that reason. The car would continue to depreciate, he traded it while it still had a lot of value and the Ferrari being already depreciated it won’t cost him much and it’ll be a decent change for his channel as far as content goes.
I got the 2020, same setup before mods. This thing is so much fun, and pretty rare, thanks for doing the videos! It's great to see the mods you've done, that exhaust sounds savage.
Don't get rid of the AMG, it is beautiful and it's your dream car. What I'd do, is to buy a salvage dream car and rebuild it; you get plenty of content to make, enjoy rebuilding, obtain another dream car and keep the AMG for another 20k miles. Just saying. BTW, thanks to you I love Mercedes, and just bought my first Benz.

They did work on the sound specifically and all their work was subsequently squandered by downpipes?.....it sounds ragged, too much like nascar, and a tad ruined (maybe/hopefully it sounds better in real life rather than video). The stock sounded better IMHO. To each their own, glad you enjoy it. It definitely is by far the best looking C class I've seen and the visual mods you done to it are on point and fit with the car perfectly. An F12 is the ultimate dream, I'd say move on.
for burnouts: activate racestart depress the brake pedal while pedaling down the accelerator pedal (dont reach the limiter from the racestart), you immediately release the brake pedal and then you make the burnout of your life. or in simpler terms. racestart on. As the revs rise, you just go off the brake and press the accelerator pedal.

The C63s has a M177 engine. The bigger AMGs like the E63s, come with the M178. Very similar but have their differences like upgraded turbos.
That's the thing about dreams (dream car), don't be so harsh on him for dreaming BIG. If selling the AMG to get to that next level dream is what it takes I support that decision..
I still remember watching the video with the previous c63s, when it got hydrolocked. I was so mad that a puddle of water could destroy a 80k+ car...

The seats are not the standard seats. You have the option Recaro seats So the ventilation doesn’t work. As for the transmission, the 9 speed is more fuel efficient and less clunky.

I love my one. I have had 3 in the last 11 years. My present one is a keeper. The only problem I have had is the glass roof became very slow to close. Oh one other problem my wife drives it more than I do.
The exhaust note is amazing!
The carbon fiber add on's, wheels and black emblems gave it a classy and aggressive look. Sharp looking. I would say keep it and wait on the Ferrari if both aren't in the budget. The F12 isn't going anywhere. The smile on your face at the end says it all. The best or nothing.
I really hope sellling the amg is a late april fools joke.

Just like the movie "Maximum Overdrive" it will pop out error codes just to mess with you, plastics will degrade and crack in your hands, seals and rubber will begin to leak and seep. You like sunroofs, power seats, and suspension that works, lol, hope not. I think you should hang on to it.....

i drive mine for 3000km now ( facelift version ). The only thing what annoys me are the crackling sounds from the interior. And also there is a squeak sound somewhere in the back left wheel everytime i accelerate the car. But this car gives you a different level of driving. The sound, the feeling.... unbelieveable. So many people are talking to you, showing you the thumbs up, kids chasing your car and other compliments. I live in germany, so i also had some races on the german autobahn with other sportcars. Its so fun! Driving never made me so happy before. But its veeeery expensive. Sometimes im twice a day at the tankstation ( everytime about 100 EUR ). So if you want a C63s, be prepared to pay over 500€ a month at the tank station.

I'm only one minute in and I'm pausing to comment. Keep the C63s! What the hell else are you going to replace it with that wont be far more expensive or far less refined? It's like the gentleman's modded GT350 but better. It's worth keeping for sure. - coming from a 2012 C63 Edition 1 coupe owner.
The car needs to be traded in because it will hit rock bottom resale prices very soon! Ive had my Toyota Camry 2005 for almost 18 years with well over 350,000 kms. Still runs like a champ. Toronto, Canada.

It does sound pretty incredible, not gonna lie. I am an Audi man, and RS5 is my nest purchase (currently own an S5), and the car even sounds nicer than the B8.5 RS5 which is a naturally asparated V8
Awesome review video, and an amazing car too! This has to be one of the better, if not best, owner review videos I have seen. I'm a huge fan of the C63s coupe. They look gorgeous murdered out like yours, and you're absolutely right about that sound! I hope to have the opportunity to own, or at least drive, one someday.
You should definitely trade it in for a 2018/19 s63 amg. Crazy speed and ultimate luxury. Plus it’s practical

A few years ago, I had a '98 F-150 STX reg. cab short wide bed with SVT Lightning wheels and a Flowmaster exhaust. Every time I was under an overpass I would floor it (automatic) to hear that wonderfull sound (:

When I was posted in Germany I had to have a Mercedes 450 SLC. Loved that car back in 1989. The Autobahn is a experience I will never forget. !! But back in Canada now

i have told this to many car reviewers but none of them have taken my advice. invest in one of those 360 degree audio systems (like the one 'smarter every day' used for Falcon Heavy) so we can hear what the engines sound like if we were really there

He may be smart but its not for that reason. The car would continue to depreciate, he traded it while it still had a lot of value and the Ferrari being already depreciated it won’t cost him much and it’ll be a decent change for his channel as far as content goes.

It sounds absolutely insane! Insanely dumb, that is. But also, this is not a true C63 review because its very different than M-B intended it to be.
Don't get rid of the AMG, it is beautiful and it's your dream car.
What I'd do, is to buy a salvage dream car and rebuild it; you get plenty of content to make, enjoy rebuilding, obtain another dream car and keep the AMG for another 20k miles.
Just saying.
BTW, thanks to you I love Mercedes, and just bought my first Benz.
