I only fear symptoms that will come after sleepless night n i fear they'll get so worse that i need to stay at home not to go to work . What are the symptoms actually ? Should I continue going to work ? Will symptoms become worse with more sleepless nights in a row
Hi Joseph, I sometimes have nights where my fight or flight response kicks in and I am awake all night and then have to go to work. When I get home and attempt to nap I feel wired awake and can never drift off, even at bedtime. It’s like my body is full of nervous energy. Can you explain why this is? I don’t understand why I’m not dropping off mid way through my day and am able to function (although feeling awful!) Also do I just plough through these times and stay within my sleep window until it eventually fixes itself? I’m at my wits end. Thankyou
Hi Maggie, yes it's very common to not feel sleepy when you have insomnia but tired and wired instead. In fact, a good sign that things are starting to move in the right direction is when you start getting that sleepy feeling back. This video here which is an oldie but a good explains what is happening with this sleepy feeling and why you dont get it ruclips.net/video/liSFK58e3uo/видео.html Also that other video that you commented on delves into this topic as well (Worst insomnia in the World) but yes try to keep gong with the sleep window, it takes time for the brain to learn that the only time you will allow it to sleep is within this window, the sleep window is very hard at first and you will sleep less in the short term when you first start it, but eventually you get that regularity and consistency back with your sleep and will get easier and you will start seeing results - but yes, it is very hard to be patient with it in the early stages but try to stick with it as best you can!
Ready to finally do things properly with a step-by-step program that will take you from insomnia to the best sleep of your life? Want to start living fully again and never go back? You can have that right now at sleepze.com. Prepare to be amazed by what's on offer
Hi Lou, the only thing fully booked until the first of May is the platinum course. However one off consultations I can book you in literally in days. Thank you
