I was lucky to meet Jim walking in front of Butler Cabin at the 2017 Masters. I told him I’m an Aussie who was in awe of his commentary when Adam Scott won. It was absolutely perfect and so genuine, it verbally framed the moment for me and all Australians. Jim was so generous with his time and chatted for a minute or two. He grabbed my hand and thanked me as he walked away but I hope he knows how grateful I was to meet him. It was an amazing trip where I also met and had conversations with Fuzzy and Tony Jacklin but my moment or two with Jim was such a highlight.
David Feherty has a lot better Augusta anecdotes and experiences. I saw a live show of his here in Naples, Fl where I live. First of all he’s a genuinely funny and seemingly great guy. His show was basically a comedy show with some golf anecdotes thrown in, but he did a 2 hour long non stop show. Never took a break. It was just a never ending stream of jokes. Anyway, before the show he said we could take as many pictures as we wanted to, but he politely asked us not to take any video because some of his stories could get him fired. I definitely agree with him.
@@ddvette Nance is a fixture I guess. I mean The Masters would just kind of seem a little weird without him, but you’re right. He just talks. Feherty actually won 5 European Tour events in his career and made it to as high as the number 33rd ranked player in the world back in the early 90’s. He’s also probably the only reporter/journalist or whatever that Tiger truly opens up to. I’m sure they’re not friends off the course, but throughout Tiger’s entire career he was always pretty short with reporters, but Feherty had a way of getting him to open up a little bit…even back in the day when he was basically like a robot.
@@Whoopdido777 Nance is good at what he does. His last interview with Arnie during his last trip to ANGC was remarkable.I think he screwed the pooch with Tiger after the wife golf club incident talking about him letting everyone down. Tiger forgets nothing.
Yes, It was a Tradition that the sponsors, and usually it was only 2-3, always Cadillac, would say we will limit Commercial interruptions, now we bring you The Masters.

Jim is such a classy guy and the masters is better to have him always
There cant be s bigger D bag on the planet then JN
With Jim, it is always about Jim.
Always . “ standing on the 12th green taking in my world” 😂
He has a replica of a Pebble Beach 3 par in his backyard, yet he lives on Pebble Beach golf course, 7th. fairway !
Is he a narcissist or something? I don’t know much about him but your comment got a lot of upvotes haha
@@kjsciacca Every story includes him being there and what he said and how memorable what he said was (in his mind).
@@davesober2093 hahaha. That’s pretty funny
I’m surprised Dan didn’t ask his most ask question “ was bird a trash talker ?”
Come on the voice of the Master’s doesn’t cut out
Nantz talking about the rules reminds of McCord getting banned for his infamous "bikini wax" call.
"we walk here at Augusta" - omg I would be scared out of my mind. The only thing worse than not going to the Masters is going and then getting banned

Always wondered who would go to that Feherty show. Do all the guys wear their golf outfits?
@@sco3putt Normal clothes like normal guys wear.
Feherty actually competed at Augusta, he is the real deal.I like his show.Nance is a talking head.

his pre masters routine is drinking A LOT
Annual*
CBS had ads this year in The Masters for the first time. They gave Tiger way too much coverage and over dramatized it with so much syrupy music
