Hi, This is a really good pick up and interesting question, that you have raised. Here's what happened to me when I ran a couple of tests. - Automation missing from Live's Preview of .alc file for an Instrument. (automated filter cut off of Wavetable.) - Automation included in Live's Preview of Instrument with audio effects added to the Instrument track. (automated wet/dry of echo.) I haven't tried an Audio track yet.. I'm going to shoot Ableton a message and see what comes back. Will pass on 😊
update: further tests reveal Midi track / Instrument - Midi control/Mixer - automation included in Live's Preview of .alc file Audio track - Clip/Mixer - automation included in Live's Preview of .alc file

Why does the Automation NOT save with the .alc for auditioning within Live's 'Preview' ?
