Hi Whitney, The customized paint box and paint palette remind me of my Great Grandmother’s life sized set. We didn’t find them in the attic, but in the garage. I should have a miniature set in my dollhouse someday to pay homage to her. She began painting at 60! The weekend I ran into you at Hobby Lobby was when I was working on a scrapbook about her and her multi talents. Thanks for the inspiration. 😊 🎨 🖼️
Awe that’s a great memory of her!!! What a lovely thing to make in her Honor. My mom has also picked up a paint brush recently, and it’s been fun to watch her progress in such a short amount of time. This was such a fun and quick project! 🖼️🖌️🎨
Great video and fantastic makeovers of very commercial minatures. You cannot tell they started as a mass proguced item. Loved the artist box and the realistic detail. Thank you for your wine sacrifice.
You always have the cutest ideas! Both of these projects are adorable! I especially love the painters set! And I really appreciate your sacrifice of finishing that bottle of wine😂🍷
I appreciate your dedication to the craft by finishing off the bottle of wine for the cork. Truly a self sacrificing act. Thank you Whitney (I hope you shared with Tiny Whitney too, although I'm sure she wouldn't be able to help with more than a drop or so). Love watching upcycling videos, they inspire so many new ideas to try!
I really love taking store bought items and making them my very own. It is my pleasure to sacrifice for my audience anytime...especially when wine is involved! lol.
I love seeing mini artists transforming miniatures! Nice job, they both look great! I just bought some minis to make my own, your ideas are very inspiring. 😁
Thank you! I need to buy more, since doing these I’ve come up with some other ideas, what I need to come up with now, is more time!! ⏰⏰⏰ I appreciate you hanging with me today.
Well, if those didn't turn out too cute. The painter's box is so fantastic! I love minis with a story. My mom is a very tidy artist, I know it's not that common, but even so her paints and palettes looked like that. Ah, the memories of being outside with her while she was painting and she would hold me on one hip. I would gawk at all of her supplies...thanks for the trip down that cozy lane. Have a great Sunday!
So cute! Painters sets are so fun, well they seem to be. I've never done one😂Love the laundry transformation, especially the sign how cute?! Thank you for all the "little" sacrifices you make for your content! 🍷 😍✨
these little sets are so cute and easy to change. I have some more ideas for the jar set..now I need to buy more! you are welcome for the sacrifice, any time! lol
I love watching your videos. You are so creative and talented. Everything always turns out amazing. Thanks for sharing your talent, ideas, and tutorials. ❤❤
You are so sweet! Thank you for your kindness. I'm obsessed with this hobby, so it is my pleasure to share with this community. Thank you for being a part of my channel! :)
This is beyond amazing! Love the transformations! I'll be looking at the Hobby Lobby miniatures with a different eye now, I can actually change some of them because of your inspiring ideas. Those jars would make awesome witch potions for my dollhouse, and hey, those witches can paint some spooky paintings too, can't they? 😂😂Love these ideas, they can fit with any theme or type of dollhouse! I love the minis at Hobby Lobby and Michael's.
Thank you so much for that! Yeh, I used to kind of snub my nose at the miniatures from hobby lobby...(miniature snob!) lol..but then I realized that they are great minis to get creative with and now I'm obsessed! And yes...absolutely those jars would make great mini potion bottles and you could really make that shelf look old..so many great ideas!
Both turned out so great. I thought the jam jars were so cute there were originally but the laundry makeover was awesome! So glad you sacrificed the bottle of wine to make the corks hahahah! I’m going to make a life size sign of “Laundry. Who even does that shirt” for my laundry room. That’s hilarious! Thanks for laughs!
isn't that sign so hilarious! I am so happy you are going to make a life size sign, I need one too! It makes me feel so good to know you are laughing along with me. Thanks for being here. :)
Well,I’m going back to London, for more mudlarking, maybe I’ll find more old porcelain doll bits! Tiny doll house furnishings are often found, like teacups or chamber pots. Victorian era. We’ll see what I find in September!
I originally saw such a thing about 20 years ago,it was a documentary about prehistoric England, that sort of thing, and it featured a quick bit about finding prehistoric skulls of animals, and flint tools. Years later, there became mudlarking videos, first done by dearest Nicola White, now it’s a phenomenon,to the point where permits to mudlark are currently stopped. The Thames is lite the worlds largest archaeological site! This year is my second year in the muck!

Omg girl stop! These are AMAZING! Im starting a massive 5’ tall dollhouse build and I am thinking about posting videos about it. Love your inspiration!
Love both but the laundry shelf stuck out for me because I haven't seen anythng like that in miniatures! Thanks for your "sacrifice" in making the corks for the bottles. LOL!
These turned out well. I have redone many human size and mini items all my life- some utter fails, but nevertheless better to have done than not, as I didn't like the originals.

Cute as usual!☺️
Hi Kathy! Thank you, I'm so glad you think so. :)
Nice job. I would love to see you do more customizations. 😊
Thank you! I will certainly do that. :)
So this man in the story, was it Bob Ross?
I just make up stories for the pieces I create, but I like the idea of it being Bob!
I have that same painter's set - thanks for the great tips!
Absolutely! This little set is so adorable, you can take it in many directions!
Love it!
Thank you! I need to do another video like this! I really loved creating my own looks from these pre fab miniatures. :)
Omg how cute!!!! Info have those jars here. Not sure if so have the paint pallet.
They are so dang cute! I suspect many of us have those at home in our mini stash. My sister have these to me in my Christmas stocking.
Much improved over the originals, they look a lot more realistic.
The tiny details make such a difference right! Thank you! 🎨🖌️🖼️
Cute
Thank you! I'm so happy you think so!

Thank you! I love those minis from Hobby Lobby! It's unto make them your own. :)

Why thank you! 😌😃😉

So so true, all the fails teach us however, even if they were disappointments! Sometimes I have found a fail actually turned into a pleasant surprise!
