Tracii Guns was amongst the top guitarists of the metal era..don't care what you say. Really entertaining to watch, some of the best trick playing along with solid riff and solo skills, only 22 years old here, impressive.

My favorite band!! Saw them so many times live back in the day. Even went to a meet & greet at a Music Plus in Hollywood and got to meet and talk with them. Great memories!
got to meet phil lewis on stage when my friends band opened for the phil lewis band at the sting in newbritain connecticut , what a cool english gent so down to earth,long live la guns!!!!
Actually got this video on VHS in 88' Great covers of Rock Candy, Walk All Over You and Mystery Train and Tracii's solo amazing! Such a fucking shame what happened in the early 90s to destroy some great music and bands!

Guns is definitely one of those bands. They look and sound like they are firing on all cylinders here and with a supecharger too. It is such a shame that Tracii and Steve had a falling out. This version of the band is phenomenal and truly exemplifies that late 80's early 90's hard rock/heavy metal originality and style. It never gets old. I have prayed to God for years that bands would try and be a lot better at releasing more of the pro shot concert video footage they have instead of keeping it in a vault somewhere. It appears Guns N' Roses are going to release their 1991 Ritz concert that kicked off the beginning of the Use Your Illusion Tour. Sorry for the ramble. This type of music is one of the few things that keeps going at 48 years old.
L.A. Guns Rock I have no clue if this is true 😂 but I read somewhere that Kelly used to sing “breaking the law” live... do you have any videos of that? (Or know if it’s true)☺️
Guns N' Roses is untouchable, no doubt. However, LA Guns is really good. Guns N' Roses has this unique sound while LA Guns sounds like yet another Kiss-era band.
the Tracii and Phil line up now is very solid. They will never play w/ Steve again, due to all the crap Steve pulled over the years. And I think Kelly is kinda loyal to Steve. But again the line up they have now is very solid. May not have the energy as these kids here do, but then again this was 34 years ago.. They're getting older Phil is in his 60s now, but they still sound great and put on a great Rock show..The new album Checkered Past is great too.
Stage left is Mick Cripps? Why is he prettt much left out of this video? Count the members on stage. He's just to the left of Phillip. But they wont show him, even the light seems to ignore him. Wierd.

Cool 😎 I was supposed to see them live in Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2003 but something happened and they never came I was gutted.
Steve Riley died in 2023 from pneumonia complications. So they can't play with Steve Riley It's now Sept. 2024.

Their sound was darker, that is why they weren´t as famous as Motley or Ratt because LA guns were not a straight pop metal act.
