lol yes, I'm very glad I can't easily see how many hours I've put into this game. Especially because I'm currently working on another video where I've tested the stats of every placeable item...

@@SilverNox I honestly dont know ever since I got the pc version I havent touched the switch version my son plays it a bit though he said it seemed to run fine
loved the tour .. loved what you've done .. i'm looking for ideas on how i want to do my game and you have given me so so many that i don't know where to start .. can't wait for the next update and keep up with the excellent work
It can be overwhelming figuring out what to do first for sure! I kind of work off what I think the villagers would need first, so I usually start with an Inn XD I appreciate the kind words!
On one hand I think "yay I can play this game for years!" On the other hand it's"oh man all this building is going to take years"
I definitely get that! It can get overwhelming when you have so much you want to accomplish
Its funny to see how many things you created have been on my mind too. Including the train track and trainstations around the challengeboards. All looks very stunning, way ahead of my emtpy island. Great inspiration, thank you for sharing :) Checking if the follow up is already on it, since it was a year ago.

I just can’t being myself to use the pyramid... got two files going and I tore it down on each IoA 😗
Was waaay to big for me to work with. It you did a good job on it. I never would have thought of just chopping the top off haha. Once I start breaking something, it’s all coming down.
The first thing I did was destroy that top bit, I hated all the options lol (Now I have it with a flat "floor" of glass covered with water and an Orb of Magic in the middle to make it look like it creates the water for the area). It took me ages to decide what to do with the pyramid because it is so big and something I'd never have made myself.
It looks awesome, thanks for sharing! I am still going through the story (just got to Moonbroke), but I have lots of ideas for my IoA but good to see what others have done for additional insporation (hence me finding your video). I love your train stations and theme you put around them. I was initially thinking of having a subway, so I don't get constrained by train tracks above ground but you don't get the scenery of the journey. For the task where you had to lay 200 tracks, I made a subway between the docks and the middle of the pyramid. Hmmm.. to tear it up or to continue. (or have both XD).
Oh hope you're having fun with the story! I love this game and that both the story and post are so fun. A subway could be really nice and probably much quicker than mine because you could go directly to where you're going instead of weaving around stuff. That said having stuff to look at while traveling is nice. For the quest I just made a loop around the pyramid lol Ended up deleting them but I did have part of it around for a good long while

You have heaps of cool buildings, I really love the windmill and the bridge! Really cool blades for the windmill, I'll be looking out for more stuff!
My poor builder lol like "yeah i know you're starving but what we're doing doesn't cause you to do your starving animation so you're just gonna have to wait"

Will you be posting any building plans? Do you have links for building plans if they were not your own original designs? Those train stations are amazing and I love how you had the board for the area in one of the rooms.
What kind of building plans are you wanting? I haven’t played in a very long time so I don’t remember if there is an in game tool for that or if there is another way people usually share it lol

Lol when it came to completing the quest, I just placed tracks from close to the station to the back of the pyramid. I hadn’t been sure what I wanted so I just tossed them out then ended up moving them later. Wish I’d come up with a way use them where the villagers would use the carts but oh well XD
That would be great! I wish i did mine first as now i have to build it around things🤣🤣
I planned my railway before building, I also used weird blocks to mark the track boundaries and where the stations would go and went from there
DQB1 and 2 are the Best thing i ever gotten to play

@@SilverNox I Hope because this spin off even tough its actualy main series because its canon to the main games has realy good story and writting i would love to see the land of DQ3 in builders

Ive just completed the storyline and now i want to build, but u have alot of residents i dont know how to get like Barbara
I can't remember how I got each individual character but for most of them, you have to go to Explorers' Shore island using the boat. Once on the island, you have to find the Builderdom's Best and there will people hanging out there. You can ask one of them to join your island.

hi im trying to figure out my ioa, i just finished the main story yesterday. i noticed u saying "she/he wanted a *specific* room"? how do u know what type of house villagers want?
This took me a while to figure out too. You need to complete a certain tablet task before they add everyone’s preferences. I believe you have to build 30 different room types
