  • In this video we wrap up our Colorado series by visiting some of the history of the area. The ghost towns and mining ruins that surround Silverton and Ouray are famous for their preservation and really highlight an already great location to visit. We also hit the most difficult jeep trail of the week, the Poughkeepsie Gulch trail. Come along with us!

Very nice! Poughkeepsie Gulch scares me. I'll probably never go with Jessie to do that one. Same for Black bear and even Imogene lol. Is interesting that there's an "easy" way on Poughkeepsie. I had no idea.

If you don’t like heights, these trails won’t be comfortable for sure. There really is only one major obstacle on Poughkeepsie and that is the wall. We learned a hard lesson here about needing more camera angles for that obstacle, but most of our folks went the easy way. I would have liked to show that better. We’ll go back sometime. I didn’t know there was a bypass road for it either. I found out when I read the sign. Thanks for watching!
