I purchased a 220 Classic new in 1996, It was repowered in 2018, people are amazed how well this boat looks and performs. If you take care these boats, they will last a lifetime.
I've owned 2 full custom built Allison bassboats over the last 17yrs. Nobody approaches their level of design, engineering, innovation, construction quality fit & finish... But Blue Wave has made a helluv an attempt! This video is partially why I chose to go with a new 2017 2400 PureBay (with a 300 Yamaha) when I bought a new boat last month. I'm currently rigging my new boat myself because that's how I prefer it. As I'm rigging the front/rear electronics (Hbird Helix 10 Mega G2s) and the trolling motor (MinnKota Ulterra Riptide Ipilot Link Bluetooth, 36v) and rigging 5 batteries onboard (+ onboard MK chargers & alternator charger), I'm seeing every nook, cranny & attention to detail & design application that is put into production at BlueWave. I'm FULLY confident & pleased with my BlueWave purchase as a result of my "hands on findings & experience" via this rigging process. The methods & process's shown & discussed in this video by Mr. Parks is no lie! I've seen the results for myself as I've spent the last few weeks getting my new BlueWave ready for a lifetime of memories with my friend's & family. "Toy money" is a precious commodity but time & memories with those most important to me is far more important! You can spend a little less & get ALOT less boat than you will with a BlueWave!! You can spend ALOT more but you WONT get anymore boat than you will with a BlueWave!!! My new 2400 will spend the majority of its time bass fishing on the TN River (Pickwick & KY Lake, as I live in West TN). The second most location will be the Choctawhatchie Bay (Ft. Walton/Destin) & the adjacent offshore areas down there. I want to thank John @ Maximum Outboards in Pompano Beach & of course the Parks family & their crew in OK for creating just the right boat that will allow me to share that most treasured time with my dear friends & beloved family.
Nice video showing the build process. I have a pure bay 2200 and have to say it has the best fit and finish of any boat I have previously owned including runabouts and a tournament ski boat. I have had my boat on inland lakes and 10 + miles offshore in 4 footers with occasional 6s. This boat has handled all conditions very well and is hits waves with a solid (not hollow) feel.
I have a 16.5 and LOVE it. Great on fuel handles rough water very well. Get it in and out of the water no problem. And with routine maint. has been maintenance free. Thanks for a great boat guys.

The Boat Place in Ft. Myers. Just dropped the price to $95g. Think they have three of them when I went looking a few weeks ago.
