“When the truth offends, we lie and lie until we can no longer remember that it is even there, but it is still there. Every lie we tell incurs a debt to the truth. Sooner or later, that debt is paid.”
Love how authentic you are on the camera with your hand gestures and facial expressions. 😄 I love the vibe at 1.25X. I love what you do at Finshots and inspire so many of us, including me. Would love to see more of your videos and take on business, startups and finance in general. Would be great if you could, maybe, start a section of finance education? Maybe pick a topic in Finance, something like market cap, free float and such, and explain it in short bits. I am sure you have better ideas brewing in your head. 😄 Lots of love and luck to you, Shrehith and to Finshots and Ditto! Will be your lifelong follower. ☺️
Finally, someone talked about the start-up ecosystem. VCs no longer care about your product or future revenue generation. All they want is a pretty big exit with sky high valuations. Long-term investment is dead in start-ups, at least partially. And way better than your first video. Kept the video short crisp. Expecting a exponential growth for your channel 😅
I am part of a startup and these things are so relatable. Glad you picked up this topic and beautifully explained it. May be out of 100 startup’s, 5 of them would be doing fraud (intentionally or unintentionally) but the remaining 95 are the one who hold the startup ecosystem high. Would like to see more videos coming from you. You are just brilliant. Topic suggestions: something around National Logistics Policy of India OR some case study of a good company. Thanks, keep doing the good work!
Good stuff. Better delivered than the one on the Hiedenburg report, although that one was well researched. The lack of drama and the more professional delivery is appreciated.Keep it up
I got recommendation to subscribe Finshots from my mentor and since then reading all daily letters and now videos amazing. Hope to see you lighting up on more such topics.
Nicely explained the startup ecosystem. There are many start-ups which are faking it till making but no doubt there are also lots of startsup which are really doing a great job ... like Finshots. A big hands up to Shrehith and all Finshots tram. You guys are really doing a great job.
You are going to be the next big thing in Fin Influencing In YT!!!!What a Quality of Videos and The Amount of Knowledge you spread is so Great!!Keep Continuing 😇
Maybe next time you could do an investigation on 1.Where is India in the chip wars scene? Especially companies like Vedanta and what role they could play in future Geopolitics
Fabulous.. loved the examples. The tone of the video though needs highs and lows (seems almost single pitched). It is sad that most of our start ups are doomed to fail.. with a low income population people really do not have much to spend. Even if the incomes grow..we tend to invest in real estate/weddings/education/ stock market trading than spend on regular purchases .. Even friends don’t buy from you and expect free stuff.. Sad but a mental shift is required to truly have an economic shift.
totally loved the way you explain. im just starting to get to know this whole world of finance and startups switching from engineering. really read more such genuine good quality content. love the finshots.
Great video. Please continue posting unpopular opinions on your channel, rather than what people want to hear and see on the internet. There is a really great marketplace for reality based unpopular opinions on the internet.
Shrehith great video man! Storytelling is one of the most powerful and influential way’s to impact/motivate or teach a person! And you have it in you…..keep hustling (been following finshots since 2019) huge fan of your work. Kudos yo your entire team 🙏🏻
Amazing video, thank you so much for making such great content. So well structured and presented. Hoping you foray into podcasts with entrepreneurs, tech leaders, programmers etc soon, kind of like lex Friedman , but with Indian guests and your energy and presentation. Idea for next video : ETF's, index ,sectoral, thematic(like smallcase) funds
terrific terrific stuff.. content, presentation, everything is just top notch.. best part - no opinions, just facts, and then leave it to best judgement of users... I'm a big fan of yours Shrehith, wish you all the success
Great piece! Left me feeling positive in spite of the subject matter. Please talk about how people searching for jobs can evaluate a business before making their decision.
Great video and well structured. 👍 I think you could have also explored more on the expectations of VCs who fund startups. It's a game of incentives at the end of the day. If VCs want a unicorn, then people will try to get there by hook or crook. It's like how every parent wants their kids to be toppers. It's just not possible. Similarly, not every startup needs to be a unicorn. There is enough space for each startup to settle in its own strata and reach unicorn status in its own time. Maybe a follow up video to this where you could talk to some VCs and understand their motivation and incentives would be complimentary to this.
"Got carried away." Hit right where it hurts. Not mechanical at all :P Great video! Just felt that the build-up was a tad longer than it should have been.
Yeah i am witness to one disruptor startup which is always swayed and unfocused because of investor pressure .. i felt lost working .. anyways.. great video and analogies and great ending bro.. 👍 keep doing it.. my request for the next vidoe topic is P/E ratio.. that seems to rule the next stock market game.. pls try to shed some light on how is it possible for investors to belive a 100+ in a ratio.. what could sebi do in this to protect investors.. and is there a thumb rule or a safe number that rings a bell when it's a dangerous P/E number ..
Why don't you do an investigative piece on how start-up founders have skimmed money from their own companies? How come these founders grow rich with every series round? It's high time to call them out, rather than give a simple explanation.
Great subject and you are really brilliant with your research Brother... Thanks for all this enlightenment... Just one suggestion, since you make videos on very serious subjects, would suggest you to keep your gestures to minimum, would definitely wish to see you in action in any of the motion pictures one day...but in these videos here it seems a bit districting...anyway, I still admire you and the content you are creating. Cheers! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😊
Could you simplify what’s happening in Adani group. Not sure whether to doubt the India growth story the group is projecting or the short sellers intention. Would be great if you can simplify that for us
This channel is on a path to hockey stick growth for sure. Love what you’re doing. Pls make one video per week, it will help us all a lot. Keep up the good work Shehrith

@@ne00ne which is why he has put it in quotes
Talk about merges and acquisitions and how the numbers are scam too.

Will surely add this to our pipeline. Thanks for the suggestions, Shrutika :)
I am really impressed by the way you covered the topic, including the human errors startups unknowingly commit during their journey.
Finally, someone talked about the start-up ecosystem. VCs no longer care about your product or future revenue generation. All they want is a pretty big exit with sky high valuations. Long-term investment is dead in start-ups, at least partially.

Glad you liked the video, Arul

Bro you need a got digital marketer... You content is best , but it isn't reaching to the crowd
very good content but a piece of honest advice. please tone down a bit on hand movement. too much distraction
We need to teach our kids to accept failure and move on even stronger 💪
Impressive, man! Loved the information you shared. Shows how much effort has gone into making this video. Wish you more success!
Thank you Rama :)
Good stuff. Better delivered than the one on the Hiedenburg report, although that one was well researched.
The lack of drama and the more professional delivery is appreciated.Keep it up
Bro the way you move (you body language), you speak, your words and the delivery just phenomenal. And the last part of the video 😮

Got carried away. Hahaha
Maybe next time you could do an investigation on 1.Where is India in the chip wars scene? Especially companies like Vedanta and what role they could play in future Geopolitics
Excellent presentation with well laid-out data points. I liked it. Thanks.
We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

Plant in the background need special care😅, it's facing nutrient deficiency and suffering from necrosis i guess
Dude ur presentation skills are awesome.
Felt like a soothing story. Can hear you for hours.
Sir you are good but video length is too long to keep people engaged, suggest using some infographic and create less than 10 min clips
You vedios are very informative , i will suggest, that you must start some short clips also ...
I am vary impressed by the way covered topic.🤔
Great video. Please continue posting unpopular opinions on your channel, rather than what people want to hear and see on the internet. There is a really great marketplace for reality based unpopular opinions on the internet.
Topic: How to actually run a bootstrap startup with ethical practices. e.g. a travel startup
Your finshots and these videos should be part of A and B school curriculum
There is some unwanated background noise...hope its corrected
Content and presentation on the whole another level along with startup expectations to be normal... Great video...
Glad you liked it!
May be do a video on How do Founders choose between Debt and Equity when thinking about raising funds ? Pros and cons kinda thing.
you are gooooooood bro. I hardly comment on videos. You made a fan. speech accuracy top notch. good day.

Great work bro, one suggestion make your channel name a bit catchy
Awesome. Please make one on how to pick the right stocks as an ordinary person who is not a finance pro.
Amazing video, thank you so much for making such great content. So well structured and presented. Hoping you foray into podcasts with entrepreneurs, tech leaders, programmers etc soon, kind of like lex Friedman , but with Indian guests and your energy and presentation.

Well almost all startups come under the pyramid scheme...😄
Wow, i must say I never imagined the explanation to this in a non boring way! let alone this nice, light storytelling :)
Loved it, Keep it up!
terrific terrific stuff.. content, presentation, everything is just top notch.. best part - no opinions, just facts, and then leave it to best judgement of users... I'm a big fan of yours Shrehith, wish you all the success
What do you do, you give them the wheel to spin on the app 5:48 #Cred 🤣🤣🤣
your gestures are quite robotic, we don't need them...
One of the best videos I have ever watched.. well explained
Thanks for bringing “Not common perspective “
Great piece! Left me feeling positive in spite of the subject matter. Please talk about how people searching for jobs can evaluate a business before making their decision.

We did want to explore more on that front, but at the same time, we didn't want the video to become too lengthy. Appreciate your feedback!
Thank you ♥️🙏 talk about finshot

As authentic as you are! Wonderful brother.
Can you make a video on hyper-valuation and profitability? Thank you already.
Why don't you do an investigative piece on how start-up founders have skimmed money from their own companies? How come these founders grow rich with every series round? It's high time to call them out, rather than give a simple explanation.
You are amazing story teller. End of the video was amazing. Keep it up!!!!
Glad you liked it Aditya.

I like how you come up with a expression on your face like " what the fuck is happening in the world " and keep up with it throughout the video.
Nicely written, and produced, keep posting, your channel is bound to grow
