*****HUGE EDIT!!!!***** RESALE BUYERS CAN TRANSFORM TO INTERVAL 45 OUT FROM END OF USE YEAR. so if you buy VDH resale and have holding points you can only book VDH, or throw it in interval!!!
Always fascinating to learn more about DVC! When recently in Disneyland Paris, I was talking to a lady on holiday from America who was a DVC sales rep.
thanks for the support, ill try to return support on your channel, youre not a public subscriber. i usually go to that list and open everyone's page to like and comment!! thanks again!!
Yo yo, welcome back. How are you doing> Yeah, there are so many clauses and addendum. This is the reason why I do not purchase one. Well, it is also that I live in Orlando now. LOL. Good information. LIKE 3. 😁💚👌👍
Thanks for this information! We don't understand too much about the DVC so this information is always interesting to me. What does Blue card eligible mean? Then I probably have MORE questions for you! So glad you are here to help us with information!
Any older direct comtract that was eligible will always be eligible (unless you sell it), also the minimum now is 100 for the points to qualify towards benefits, but still has to add up to 150. So you’re 75 point example doesn’t work, but if you bought it 100/50 the 100 would count. They don’t want people to have smaller contracts that help the resale market. ;)
great point and feedback!! grandfathered will always be grandfathered for sure. they briefly reverted to 100 but after vdh, it's back to 150 min unfortunately. i checked with a few guides but i'll definitely check again. i wasnt aware there was a divide in min and being allowed under. the structure you listed works under the assumption it's 100 i agree, but as far as i know they upped back to 150. so 100/50 neither would innately grant blue. it's disgusting what these new generation resorts do!! great eye and thanks for joining!!
Yup.. it's interesting... so, what was the threshold back in 2019 when Riviera went on sale to members? I wonder if I have maintained my direct point levels to keep my blue card... thinking about selling a small Beach Club contract but that would reduce my accumulated direct points...
You are still on top with knowledge for DVC. This is the channel to go to for becoming educated in this. You are correct in seeing another similar channel with no comments. I started MouseArt4Kids with less complex creations on RUclips for KIds. Videos made for kids are not allowed to have comments. Have a great weekend my friend.
You can still buy 150 all at once (if you want benefits) - just pay the extra document processing fees and break to into 2-3 different contracts in case you want to sell all or part in the future. But agreed - smaller is better!
great point!!! for 150 pts, even if you buy as a singular purchase, but split during that purchase, because the broken up contracts are under 150, none of broken up contracts innately grant you blue card rights, EVEN THOUGH THE SUM at the time of sale is 150...the broken up contracts will contribute to your pool only! it's really absolutely disgusting!
thanks great feedback i appreciate you!!! ive done 4 direct contracts across 4 guides, not a single one offered this freely. i heard over a community convo about this and grilled guide 4. they then explained!!! but i hear you, some guides more transparent!! sincerest thanks for the support!
Hello my friend. I watch this because you are very knowledgably and this is interesting. I am joining from here to not miss any videos and give you watch time. You know me as the icon of the Bluebird drawn with chalk against black background. What are the benefits of a Blue Card? Full watch and joining giving support. 🎁
i miss you man! i havent seen anything on your main and most i can do on this channel is watch and like :(. ill always remember the first people that had my back day 1!
Easy solution, don’t sell :) I hope Disneyland DVC don’t sell their contracts for anything less than $200 a point…EVER. We all control the resale price.
appreciate the support/follow! we do, but can't control what folks do! probably will end sub 165-185pp once some sales go. owners are gouging renters right now. $29-33pp rentals...and they have to pay tot...i'm so confused. but i mainly buy for personal use!

February 2018: Raised to 75 points.
September 2019: Raised to 100 points.
good luck!
@@TheMagicalInkDHG Awesome... thanks... I'm still good... :)
Interesting. Had not thought about this but makes sense as the original contract is grandfathered in.
i wish i knew before hand but 50-65 pointers are easier to downsize!
