A perfect song doesn't exist. Then what is this? Not going to lie I never knew how much a song can bring comfort, but this one has. Don't ever stop making music.

this is my own interpretation, so take it with a grain of salt: the protagonist of this song has some kind of personal issue (addiction, depression, or some sort of) and they know it is a problem in their relationship, but they can't let go of their lover just yet. they want to be better, and probably the lover is wanting it too. and for the time being, it is love that they're holding on to
