All I saw were love taps from a guy who's supposed to be a "HEAVY WEIGHT"?
Maybe next time they can have that fatties mom go rounds with him?
LOL! 🤣🤣🤣

@Im Mojo ?
Bautista still won the fight
Bautista is built differently than most people; he has some of the proportionally-widest shoulders I've ever seen on a man, the perfect frame to hang a WHOLE lotta muscle on. I'm happy for him finding fame as an actor. He's less-likely to retire crippled, that way.
Great man love Batista!

Say what you want about the fight. This guy, 20+ years now being on the big stage, talking about being nervous and having butterflies. Acknowledging that he has a lot work to do. Respect.
It's more of a publicity stunt I think. He fights some fat guy which they know he will beat. And of course, we can't risk messing up his face too much because he needs it for the camera.
@@rasmasyean Jesus Christ...... first of all he's a heavy weight so MOST OF THEM ARE FAT!!!! Me too! Didn't know why my dad was fighting some random fat guy named Lucero.
I felt all of the same anxieties Batista felt tonight in my debut. Takes a lot to be willing to get knocked out when your this successful n famous
He wasn't that famous. Not many outside wrestling knew who he was at the time. This was 2012, he didn't debut in GOTG yet. I still respect him for doing it even if it was against the worst MMA fighter they could find.
@@Bitchslapper316seriously? You think no one knew this man at that time?
You're in to the fighting profession? I am as well. Im employed by a company called ruckus in the cage, a subsidiary of the rough and rowdy brawl. I've been with them for eight years now and I have to admit that I make out like a bandit every fight night win lose or draw . Fortunately for me though... I am currently undefeated except for a DQ but that happened two days before we even had a scheduled bout . I failed my drug test for weed 😒
@@thelegion3682 That's rough. I don't know why they even screen for weed in MMA. It doesn't help athletes in any real way. Coke/crack, meth, steroids etc are another story.
Screening for weed is like screening for alcohol weeks before a fight.
@@Bitchslapper316dude wrestling was huge back then
Don’t forget. He started MMA late even after having so many surgeries during his WWE career. At this time, he was 43 and was fighting against a fighter who had over 40 fights. Regardless if his opponent lost majority of those fights, a fight is a fight. He was more used to the environment than Batista. You can say Batista is used to big crowds too but the difference is, Batista fought in WWE which is staged combat. Pretty sure nobody would get nervous in a staged fight. You turn up and play your role. Fake punches and slams. Getting clipped around the head for real will rush adrenaline and that is now down to you to stay composed. Yes, Batista got caught. His mind went blank for a bit but he got through it and took him and and won. No shame here. Honestly respect him for this. Don’t compare him to Brock Lesnar, Ken Shamrock or Bobby Lashley who actually trained for years and fought. Batista’s first ever real fight and he did well despite being 43.
He actually got into Professional Wrestling pretty late in years too which has its toll, and although the punches are meant to not make contact, like the commentators said, even wrestling has its fair share of more or less accidental live rounds. wether the slams are "fake", yeah not designed to hurt, as in specifically designed NOT to hurt, but gravity does not forgive. Wrestling in front of a large crowd does provide its own butterflies, but a totally different beast compared to actually stepping in being ready for a potential asswhooping.
Ummm… absolutely right? So get the f*** out of the octagon, you have no business being in there? Embarrassing crap from cringe Batista

Go blow smoke somewhere else halfwit
As a boxer, you're making excuses 😂😂😂 I can definitely see Booker T fucking his ass up with that striking. Pathetic 😂😂😂😂 CM Punk and Batista needs to stick to script fighting and MMA fighters need to stick to MMA not boxing
This is ridiculous😂😂. They gave Bautista probably the worst fighter they found and he almost gets knocked out by him.
He can't even punch🤣🤣
😂
Almost lost in the first 15 seconds 😂
Exactly, totally ridiculous, Bautista knows absolutely nothing about MMA, too bad, this fight is a joke.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If you are commenting criticizing Bautista, you just don’t understand. That guy he’s fighting had over 40 professional fights and weighed 300 POUNDS. That is a big man throwing big punches. And he said he wasn’t even the guy he was supposed to fight. Training is one thing, but you can’t replicate that. He got rocked at first. He took all those punches, but kept his composure, got a take down and finished it up with ground and pound. That is impressive for a heavyweight debut bout.
So what Dave had a hell of Reach advantage and he let fat Guy come in on him 💯🙄😂😂😂
Bull... he lost that fight, he sucked. Period.
@@ChefJeffreyKaufman lost that fight how? He literally finished off his opponent. Lol just admit that you hate him for no reason and be done with it. Lol.

@bene233 Never heard of him until this fight, and he lost because he didn't finish it on his feet. All that talk about KOs and going toe to toe to having a hard time rolling up the burrito like he won it by going toe to toe... nothing to get bent over, he couldn't stand toe to toe, like most heavy weights.
And come on with fighting that guy, he was shoe in to win, a simp exposition fight made out to be something grander, lol... many MMA groups always do that. Pitting a weaker opponent against a stronger fighter?

Shows you how talented the real UFC fighters are
For real, people don't realize the work that goes into just getting to the lowest of the low in the UFC. I've seen a lot of highly skilled, talented fighters in our gym not make it.
There are legit WWE fans who think these actors can take on UFC fighters
@@subhuman3408 well not just Batista, but Lucero as well.
Skilled for sure, but this also showed Bautista can't fight for shit. Wow. Did he even train?
You all have no idea of the real meaning of talent. Talent does not consist of fighting. Talent consists of singing, dancing, or playing a musical instrument. Otherwise it would have been called "Mixed Talents Of Martial Arts"
If I saw the guy Bautista is fighting in real life and he told me he once fought Dave Bautista in MMA, I would definitely not believe him 😂

Awesome fight, great job to Bautista. I kind of miss him in the WWE!
“Hey butterball, how’s you like to make $100??”
Butterball would beat your ass. Take a look at his record and some of the monsters he's been in the cage with. He's slayed some pretty big dudes in his career. Not bad for a street fighter from a small town in AZ. His fighting career took him all over the world. He's made well in to 6 figures a year fighting. And it's just a side job. Not bad for a fat guy huh?
At least he stepped in the cage and won a professional fight. Most people in the comments wouldn't have the balls to do that
He faced a guy that is horribly out of shape with a losing record. He had ample time to train for the fight. The advantages were totally on his side so stop riding his nuts joker!!
Shouldn't give up his day job in WWE
Lols most people in the comments don't spend 12 hrs in the gym juicing pls. This was a mediocre affair.

You have to stay focused. I've been in martial Arts Since I was 5 and I'm a 3rd d*** blackbelt in wado-kai and I was state champion in fighting in Florida for my class/division.. I also worked as a bouncer for 8 years.. This is what I've learned in my lifetime of fighting... This keeps your head clear and you can react and perform in a much greater manner and capacity.. it's something that takes years to perfect but it's kinda like when your sparring. Dave's biggest mistake in this fight was not going for a takedown sooner. His stand-up just wasn't ready at that point for a guy with 44 MMA fights. Lucero was clearly a tomato-can, but a few times in that fight, Dave ate some pretty big shots and could've potentially been knocked out. Had Batista taken the fight to the ground immediately, he would've ended the fight alot sooner and avoided some of those heavy head shots he received earlier on. A typical analysis from behind a keyboard. Just because he din't try doesn;t mean he easily could. You gotta be in a position and distance to make a takedown attempt as well as when you are trying to hit someone in a face.

He put's on a good show as in movies
There is no point starting his MMA career at the age of 43 when most fighters retires.
I just found out that Dave Batista was 44 in this MMA fight. That's right, mid 40s. Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar was 30 years old when he was in the UFC. And at 30 years old, he struggled a lot with 43-year-old Randy Couture that weighed 210 lbs and was 5'11" (again, while Brock was 30, 285 lbs cutting weight, and with a massive reach advantage).
People will pretend like Lesnar is massively superior to Batista in MMA. But when you really find out when they made their MMA debuts (Batista was 44 here, and Lesnar was 29 years old in his very first MMA fight), you start to understand it's more of an age issue.
Putting Randy Couture and whatever was in the cage with Batista in the same sentence is crazy
To put it nicely... You Sir have no idea what you're watching when you put on MMA fights.
But in this field, Lesnar IS massively superior to Batista in MMA, whatever stage in either of their lives. He's an Alpha nutjob who genuinely enjoys hurting opponents, like what are you even saying
Lesnar is massively superior to Batista in MMA. Personally I think admitting that fact does not take anything away from Batista. Personally I think he made a very good impression for somebody who had (I assume) not that much of fighting training in early life and debuted at 44.

This f*t guy is very brave how many people have the courage to fight with dave batista? If a fighter is tall 2meters doesn't have good defense can't predict what kind of punch is coming he will be punched a lot
@@mariananton840 I think Bautista is the brave one. Fat guy has a pro record.
Wasn't this fight back in 2012? His one and only MMA fight.
Yep. He figured out pretty quick that real fighting wasn't for him. Went back to fake fighting and joined Pedowood.
Yep he’s all about the gaze 👀
@@ricardohernandez6843 Dude is 43 1st fight. I got respect for doing it. Kinda late to start MMA fighting.
Old, big muscles (less stamina) and inexperience, definitely not a good combination. He would also fail drug tests for sure. He made the right choice.
