Okay so some people were asking for the paragraph guy so I'll summarize with hopefully minimal spoilers. Okay so both girls are princesses. Marianne (sword girl) had a major falling out with her fiancè leading to him trying to use a love potion. It hit Dawn (Singing girl) and due to the Bog king invading and kidnapping her the first one she saw was the Bog king. Marianne came to save her sister only for the love potion to be a pain as you see.
My time has come to be the paragraph guy In this movie we follow a series of important characters but mostly the three we see in this short. I’m this world there’s a flower that is used as a main ingredient for a genuine love potion. This flower only grows in the bog king’s territory and he has not only banned its use and ordered any flowers found to be destroyed but had also imprisoned the only person actually able to turn it into the love potion. His reason for doing this is he once had an unrequited love and was tempted to use the potion to make her reciprocate his affection. However he stopped himself before it was to late realizing not only would she no longer be the person he fell in love with but also every moment they were together would be a lie. However the plants arnt something he can just hunt to extinction so he has to keep a constant watch for them. This inevitably means that some will exist long enough for an outsider to get ahold of a flower. This is where the main plot of the story kick in. The two women are princess of the fairy’s with the eldest being the one with the sword. She was once engaged to a famed warrior amongst her people and days before the wedding she finds out he was cheating on her and was only interested in becoming king. After calling off the engagement she makes a vow to never fall in love again and dedicates her time to learning swordsmanship. Not giving up on his desires to become king he keeps trying to win her back with no success. Knowing things arnt going well he manages to trick a friend of the younger princess into getting him a love potion which he actually manages to do. However he isn’t exactly sneaky about it and the bog king discovers his plan and rushes to retrieve and destroy the potion. However he arrived just as the potion was about to be used causing it to accidentally hit the younger princess instead of her older sister. Since bog was the first person she saw after the potion she fell madly in love with him. Seeing he was too late he takes the princess with him and locks her up while they try to find a cure. He sister obviously worried comes looking for her and they have a fight. After things calm down he shows her the effects of the potion and they decide to work together to bring her back to her senses. Overall the stories rough around the edges and isn’t helped by the fact it’s a cringy musical but it’s not a bad story. @ the dude who was tricked into making it doesn’t suffer any direct consequences however he is in love with the younger princess so I can only imagine the suffering he was in when she was both fawning over the bog king and was taken away to his kingdom
Technically Bog did use the potion in his youth, but it didn't work because the person he used it on already found true love, canceling the potion out, which he didn't know. He instead assumed it was because he was so awful nobody could ever love him, even with magic. It's a weird snarl in the plot because it's out of character for Bog to have used it, since he's locking people up because he knows full well they're not in control of their own facilities and the love potion is essentially a date rape drug, and they would strongly regret their actions if they woke up. Maybe it's supposed to show how much Bog has changed as a person over time, but it's still a weird thing to put in at that point in the movie, because by then he's shown to consider the use of the potion as immoral and wrong. As he tells the younger princess, she doesn't ACTUALLY love him, it's the potion, and he's very gentle with her as he tries to explain, and keeps her and all the other love potion recipients locked up for their own safety as he tries to get the cure made. The Bog King is my favorite part of the movie, and the bit where they reveal he used it once really disappointed me. It was just unnecessary and ruined him a little bit for me.

Bro was in a love hate relationship throughout the movie. 😂😂😂

Beauty & The Beast, but the Beast doesn't get a HandsomTm upgrade at the end!
If I remember correctly, everyone was shocked and mildly grossed out about Marianne and the Bog King--- lol
