There is no reason for anyone to have surgery without an anesthetic. And this is surgery. This is surgery, not just a medical test, like having your blood drawn; if a doctor says s/he's (it's usually male doctors doing this shit) going to do this to you without an anesthetic tell them to go to hell and find someone else.
Why did you scream towards the end? Was it that the local anesthesia hadn't kicked in? I had my procedure done moments ago and it didn't hurt. There was discomfort but not omg pain. The most uncomfortable part for me was the injection. I didn't realize how long the needle was until your video. I was like no wonder. After that injections, I went on namaste mode (breathing in and out). You really have to relax for this procedure to give yourself and the gyno an easy time. For anyone doing this, make sure to ask your gyno if they have all the utensils necessary for the procedure including the ball electrode. My gyno didn't have that in the room immediately after the loop and literally the nurse had to step out to look for one as none was in the storage cabinets in the room so I was open for like 2 mins while I waited for cautery. The ghetto. But after that, I was done. So relieved to have the speculum out. I pray you had a speedy recovery after! I'm looking forward to mine to get back in the pool to swim!

It shouldn't hurt if you have proper medication and care. I had my IUD replaced last week and the highest pain I had throughout the whole procedure was around 2-3 out of 10. I got Valium about 30 minutes prior to starting and then she gave me a paracervical block about 5 minutes prior. It was 500x better than when I initially got my IUD. When I had it placed the first time I only got a shot of Toradol (basically super strong ibuprofen) and it hurt so much. I almost kicked them and was sobbing during the measuring and insertion and had bad cramping for the rest of the day. With the one I just got, I had a slight cramping that felt more funny than painful and it only lasted for roughly 1-2 hours. I will never have any procedures done without medications again.

@@KaylaCorrine17 I agree with you. Unfortunately the NP that I work with is unable to provide that type of anesthesia based on her license. It's a total bummer but it is better than getting cervical cancer
@@hollystar1: It shouldn't be done by a nurse. It should be done by a doctor and there should be an anesthetic just like there is in a dentist office. There is no reason for anyone to have surgery without an anesthetic. And this is surgery. I was told by a doctor that many male gynecologists go into that kind of work because they don't like women and like hurting them. Don't be a victim. This is surgery, not just a medical test, like having your blood drawn; if a doctor says s/he's (it's usually male doctors doing this shit) going to do this to you without an anesthetic tell them to go to hell and find someone else.
i’m not trying to be sexist but having a male doctor feels so… innapropriate? why couldn’t a female do this job?
fr
If it's inappropriate for a man to do this what about female nurses that bath male patients?
Male Drs are Suspect 🤔
I had the procedure back when I was 20 back in 1997. I was tense but the nurse assured me to calm down and I did. I didnt see the needle but felt it. Afterwards I was ok.
I am getting put to sleep for my leep
@@lorettacatron6670 I was going to ask my doctor if I could get put to sleep I don't wanna feel the needle or wire loop the thought is terrifying me
Ok 👍🏻

I have my leep procedure done in 1 day i will be put to sleep but when i wake up will it hurt
Did you notice that the Doctor has the Face Mask but he didn't cover himself while he was working with the Patient
I had to have 4 of these. I screamed & cried & then I just couldn't because it hurt so bad. Blood running downy legs, had to turn me upside down in the chair so I didn't pass out. It was awful.
i was thinking getting iud but no thanks you are stronger than me. I would get implant birth control
I had this done over 30 years ago, I didn’t feel a thing , numbed it inside but didn’t even feel the needle , I was expecting to
Yeah this is super horrible I don't like it but it has to be done thank goodness i have a woman dr if it was a man i would feel verry overwhelmed and very uncomfortable i wouldnt want a man looking in there
I gotta get this done soon and I am terrified
It's ok to be afraid but, please get it done....
Yikes. It looks painful
What kind of test is she getting?
Why is he using a needle?
I hate Pap smears
2:15 I feel bad her moaning and I love the nurse talking calm

Did it hurt? How long did it take for you to heal? I have to do this procedure on Monday October 31st 😩 and I’m terrified.
@@Tha_chocolate_don_tv A few weeks. I was nervous but the nurse reassured me to calm down. Take some deep breaths. That helps.
@@carmenhomer1965 so in other words it did hurt ?? 😩😩

The nurse kept telling me to calm down. You dont feel the needle but when the laser is used it stings. Watch some more videos to get a better understanding
I was asleep for this procedure in the the US. No way you would be awake
I was.

It's a leep procedures one of the main thing the doctor is checking for is cancer, If you had miscarriage, heavy bleeding it's a lot just asked your doctor..
Do you have to do this
No
I had my exam and that shit hurtled but this I’m sure hurts more
That seems like a operating room procedure to me, an in patient.
Só queria entender pq as mulher escolhem ir num médico homem se podem escolher uma profissional mulher
I never had it never will same with pap smear
Omg!!!! Get out of there! 🙏
I hate when they say haven’t dog Antrim’s relax thanks to him
I have to get this done in a week and I’m terrified 😭😭
How was it?
You will be fine it you won't feel pain
Why does the doctor not have his mask on while in surgery. All those bacteria going into the vajaja
He did have his mask on he took it down so he can explain the procedure to me..
Why are people awake for this.
Because those women went to male gynecologists. Go to a female one, check comments about her online, and demand to be put to sleep. You may have to pay out of pocket for it and you will have to have someone drive you home. If you have to pay for the anesthetic, then sue the insurance company for reimbursement. You wouldn't put up with having your appendix out without an anesthetic.
What the heck is a leep surgery!?😱😱😱
Look it up..
Basically burning off part of the cervix with electrocautery

What the hell? Why the hell does someone video record their female partner having a pelvic exam? This sh/t is so messed up.
No it not
Because it’s NOT a pelvic exam. It’s a procedure : cervical cancer biopsy.

I hope she was just being overly dramatic!!!
No, she wasn’t. You should be able to imagine how uncomfortable and scary and possibly painful this would be.
Fuck no she’s not I had a biopsy on my cervix recently and literally passed out on the table . The body goes into shock. It’s like what the fuck are you doing ???
If anything she's being extremely underdramatic. This shit should have anesthesia to be done. Imagine someone saying "we're going to cut off your finger but relax, it's just some pressure" the fact that they didn't sedate her is disgusting.
