The Birth of Maklynn | An Empowering VBAC Story

Elisha had an emergency cesarean with her first baby and new that with her daughter, she wanted a VBAC. Her care team respected her wishes and were truly wonderful through out Elisha's labor. We laughed, ate mac and cheese, Elisha did her makeup and we all just chatted until the nurses noticed head compressions on the monitor. Sure enough, Elisha was fully dilated and it was time to meet her baby! She only pushed a few times before we could see baby Maklynn's head. I could already hear the sniffles of Elisha's sister and husband. One more big push and baby Maklynn was born! Elisha got her VBAC and didn't tear at all either. Congratulations and welcome to the world, Baby Maklynn!
