- I give viewers a tour of my sewing room. I share creative storage ideas and ways I have repurposed things to work for my making the most out of my space.#quilting #sewing #sewingroomtour #sewingroom
It never occurred to me to put a towel on my pressing surface to spray my starch! Great idea! And I have plenty of old towels to use! Your sewing room is fabulous- I don’t have quite the space and the room where I’m sewing right now doesn’t have the wall space I need because it’s a room above our garage and has windows in one end, a closet opposite on the other end, two doors to our small storage dormers, my old computer desk I haven’t used in who knows when and the final wall is half open to the downstairs family room! But I just had several ideas to make some big changes! Thanks for the tour!
You are so welcome! So happy to hear it was inspiring! 🌻
Great video. You DIDN'T waste time with the " ums" and forgetting the names of items, the wall color is the same as my kitchen and laundry room. I was considering to make my new sewing room the same color too. It's so refreshing, relaxing and delightful. I love your items and will use some of your ideas!
Thank you so much!🌻 so glad to hear you found some good ideas. good luck setting up your new sewing room! Sounds very exciting.
Great sewing space. Thank you for sharing. I also use my dining room table as my cutting table which is also in my dining room. We are not big on entertaining so; I thought why not use it as a cutting table. Great idea on the command hooks. 😉
Thank you so much for sharing and watching! I use my dining room table too on occasion with some protection when I am putting the layers of my quilt together.
G.L., Does the washi tape hold up, stay sticky? M🍀
I made mine a few years ago and it’s held up surprisingly well!
Love your sewing room!!!!❤😊
Thank you so much! Also thank you for watching!🌻
So relaxing, and peaceful looking…. A little oasis, tucked away for quiet joy! I miss my old sewing room 🥺 I was reminded how much I loved my larger sewing room, while watching this, because I have exactly the same carpeting in that room, as you have here, & of course, it reminded me. I gave my large sewing room to my son when he moved back home), and I downsized into a spare room, half the size. “sigh” 😢 I finally have my smaller room organized, and pleasantly functional, and cute. But, yes, I still miss my larger room 🫠
Thank you!😀
By the way! I believe that the mini iron, in this video, has been recalled! I have one too 🙄 hazard of some kind. Kind wishes :) ❤
I had it with me at my featherweight club session and my fellow club members mentioned it. I looked it up and the one I have wasn’t part of it. It has made me a bit cautious with it. My club members were all switching to the Osilo mini so considering updating to that model.
Check that travel iron! A bunch of those just got recalled!
Thank you for letting me know. I replaced it a month or so ago because of the recall. Happy quilting!🌻

Your quilting room is very organized and beautiful with lots of great lighting! Thank you for sharing it with us! ❤
Thank you so much! You are so welcome!
Nice! I have cart I do the same thing with. Wish I had a little bigger room, but I am sure we all do. Lol
Thank you! Me too! I was in a smaller room and with Covid, I decided to ditch my guest room and make it my quilt room. I added the sofa bed so I can still have guest.
Your Sewing Room is beautiful!!!! Hope you post more videos, looking forward to watching more cool things!!
Thank you so much! 🌻
Your sewing room is wonderful. I have the exact same Janome Sewing Machine I just recently bought. Still learning all the stitches.
Thank you so much! Yeah on the new Janome. How exciting! My favorite stitch is Mode two number 36 when I do a blanket stitch for appliqué. Thank you for watching!
Do you use the serpentine stitch? I cannot seem to make the stitch longer

I will do some research and get back to you on it.
Beautiful sewing space with great ideas for staying organized. I love your pink walls. I have a Janome and Featherweight too. Looking forward to future videos!
Thank you so much!😀
Nice room! So organized, is it always so pretty? LOL!
Thank you so much! It generally is, it has its moments when I am working on a project. Lol.

Hello Deb Thank you so much for the very kind words and the very warm welcome to the You Tube Creators group. It just warmed my heart! Thank you again for the encouragement and watching! 🌻
Your sewing room is wonderful! Very efficient use of your space!
Thank you so much! 🌻
Lovely room, organized and bright! Happy sewing 🧵!
Thank you! You too!
I like your sewing partners...cute dogs 😊 you have many cutting surfaces.
Thank you🌻
Love it! 😍
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful space, nice ideas! Thanks!
Thank you! 😊
The spool adaptor on your featherweight looks interesting. Can you tell us about that please? The overhead arm that feeds thread from the cone. Thanks
Yes it is a Featherweight Stand. Since we typically now use modern, cross-wound thread spools or large cones the stand helps for easier flow of thread! I got it from one of my favorite online shops the Featherweight Store. Here’s a link for the stand. singer-featherweight.com/products/thread-stand
In addition to being my go to spot for Featherweight items they also have fabric and notions as well. 🌻
Such cute storage ideas! I have 2 design boards in my WIP stack…definitely need to finish those next!
And where did you find your corner desk? So need one of those!
It is the Pottery Barn Bedford modular desk.
Thank you so much for your kind words! The design boards are super handy!
Lovely room - just the right size, functional, adorable, and looks like a cozy & relaxing space to spend some time! The pincushion/scrap bag combo is really cute - I've seen them before but the spot to tuck in a pair of small scissors/snips is unique; here did you find it or did you make it from a pattern? Thanks!
Thank you so much! I made the pin cushions and thread catcher from a pattern. Here is the link to Curry Bungalow’s shop where I got it.

New subscriber and your video came up. Will you please tell me how to purchase the pattern under your feather weight machine? I’m a beginner quilter. Thank you.

Thank you so much! I purchased it as a kit from the Singer Featherweight Shop. It is a Lori Holt pattern from her Quilty Fun Pattern book. The kit is on sale now.
You skipped over the dogs
I will be sure to introduce them in a future video. 🐾
