Bass Cover: 'Take Me Home'; Cher (1979)

(Headphones recommended). Cher moved out of her self-admitted 'comfort zone' musically & was encouraged to make a foray into the heart of Disco's halcyon era, with this 1979 classic. She absolutely nailed the vocals & in latter years, continues performing this number live with great panache. I've tried to replicate the essence of Eddie Watkins' wonderful bass part, but certainly not note-for-note! Recorded here with Musicman Stingray Classic and Thomastik Jazz flatwounds, via a Boss GT-1B.
